AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, from behind the golden EIB microphone, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I wouldn’t describe it that way either. Apparently Romeny simply didn’t motivate enough voters.

What? You can’t vote for Fred after he dropped out. I voted before he dropped out.

I actually agree with you. You are responding to a comment I made that I did not think Rush would endorse Mitt. I never said that if he did it would matter much.

Pretty clear, Rush is still not going to get off the dime. He could have, today, actually impacted things.

But no.

In effect, Rush is allowing the MSM to define this entire election.

Rush is at the heart of the matter, now. There is no catalyst for Conservatives to rally around; and that’s just how the country club crowd likes it.

Wait for it!

The Huckster is DOA! If only he had the smarts to realize his candidate is Romney...

I’m more perplexed at Guliani’s endorsement of McCain. I thought for sure he’d go for Romney, esp. since it seemed he and Romney were tag teaming McCain and Huck in the last debate.

I’d like to see what the true Republican vote would be, if we didn’t have all of these “voting irregularities”, and others besides Republicans deciding from state to state whom the Republican candidate will be.

Oh I bet the phone lines between Romney and Fred have been busy. Romney was the only one to commend Fred after he dropped out. I bet McCain has also been calling Thompson... which is why I seriously want Fred to accept and offer from Romney. Fred blowing off McCain would be a HUGE sign to conservatives.

Fred's silence is quite telling.

My analogy is this: I’d rather see the knife coming at me with Hillary, than the knife stabbing me in the back with McCain.

Amen, brother. Good analogy.

The NRA is not going to endorse during the primary. If they did not come out for Fred, they are not going to come out for Paul or Huckabee now. I believe the NRA has serious problems with McCain and Romney.

This from NRO Corner this morning:

"Foolishness" [Kathryn Jean Lopez] Is how Senator McCain just described people worried about his immigration answer on Meet the Press (he said he'd sign McCain-Kennedy), on Bill Bennett's show. He emphasized that he is going to "secure the borders first." His straight talk is probably going to have to come with details and reconciliation.

"Foolishness" I'd drop, my friend.

That is a perfect example of the problem I have with McLame. He constantly belittles the opinions of people he should be courting. I love the little dig at "my friend". Katherine Jean, you go girl.
