McCain appreciates it, but NJ is in the bag.

“He’s the Democrats’ Pet RINO.”

Yep, and McCain doesn’t realize that IF he ever got the nomination, LMSM would turn on him in a heartbeat so the Dem candidate would win.

I never voted in a primary before. I think I have to this time.

(for the record, I registered Independent in college and considered registering Democrat so I could vote in NYC primaries -- which was usually the election in those days -- but didn't. Last year, someone came to my door and asked for my signature and showed me that I've been listed as a Republican for years. No clue how it happened.)

“many Republicans actually want to WIN”

I’m a CONSERVATIVE, and don’t care if the LIBERAL has a D. or R. after his/her name.

Funny you should say that... we were just having that discussion, recently.

I wonder if he will come in if asked.

That is what I am praying for. A long shot, I know. But live and hope is what I am doing!

:)

Good chance of a brokered convention. Need a strong debate performance by Mitt tomorrow and he needs to do better where conservatives are concentrated. Then who knows who could come out. The other possibility is Romney naming a running mate preconvention and picking up momentum. Guiliani is bagging it tomorrow and endorsing McCain. That does not means his voting bloc automatically switched to McCain.

What happens if McCain dies of old age prior to the election in November?

Look, McCain is a bitter, angry, unpredictable, backstabbing two-faced old coot.

And those are his best traits.

He is 72 years old now. If he gets elected, he will be 73 when he takes office, and not a robust 73 like Reagan near the end of his first term, but a crusty, withered old shrew.

I don’t know how this backstabbing creep ever got as far as he has in presidential politics.

I won’t be able to vote for him in the general election.

He is too, too far beyond the pale.

If we’re going to have a democrat running down this country, I prefer there be a D after its name so the proper party gets blamed for the debacle.

Even before the Florida count Huckabee was third in delegate count.

Interesting. If you put it that way, why not vot for Paul. At least his domestic policies are sane. And domestically is where I live.

but republicans are still republicans. They want to win and mccain is the one the voters feel has the best chance.

And Romney wasn’t exactly a slam dunk conservative either. So if you’re not going to get the real thing with Romney anyway, you might as well vote for the winner.

Ass kissing the MSM and being the democrats pet Rino.

Why any so called republicans can vote for him utterly escapes me.
