If the war on climate change goes as well as the War on Poverty, Drugs, etc, then the planet is doomed.

Isn't 2 billion about the same total they spend on ice at their back-slapping parties, laughing at us taxpayers for picking up the tab?
Not one penny should be spent on junk science.
These people are going to be very embarrassed when time proves them wrong. It's already happening, but the MSM continues to keep a lid on it....for now.

OK, let's suppose for a minute that the Earth HAS a climate. That's probably false (it has many climates), but, let's just suppose.
What is the most consistent feature over time of what these morons refer to as "climate"?
That's right, class:
CHANGE.
IT IS ALWAYS CHANGING. IT IS NEVER STATIC. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.
How can you "fight" an essential component of the physical world?

More climate change collectivism...
To cogitator: this one’s right up your alley. It’ll be soooooo funny if/when all the doomage turns out to be phony. In the meantime, enjoy that hand in your wallet.

Before everybody gets their panties in a wad let's see how the President says climate change or not. This is a freaking wire story by Reuters for God's sake so take their credibilty into account and wait for the actual speech.
Otherwise I am cool with expanding knowledge about alternative energy sources (look for the Prez to accent nuclear) while staying in the bounds of reality of our dependence on oil due to it's availabilty and highest bang-for-the-gallon going. In the long run less money to the middle east is fine by me.
