Before everybody gets their panties in a wad let's see how the President says climate change or not. This is a freaking wire story by Reuters for God's sake so take their credibilty into account and wait for the actual speech.
Otherwise I am cool with expanding knowledge about alternative energy sources (look for the Prez to accent nuclear) while staying in the bounds of reality of our dependence on oil due to it's availabilty and highest bang-for-the-gallon going. In the long run less money to the middle east is fine by me.

Nothing to see here, let’s all go to the “Pray for President Bush” thread and let our eyes glaze over at the picture of Bush carrying the tree branches in his “Western White House” shirt.

UNBELIEVABLE is a great understatement. Somehow he will manage to screw his own legacy without help from the Democrats. The only excuse he could possibly have is that he thinks it will take longer for the average person to catch on to Father Al’s scam than he has time to squelch it. 2.27B of our money is likely not to mean much to him.

As the trillions spent fighting the “war on poverty” continues, government sets out to battle with “war against the sun”.
This should be an epic battle plus will test the wills on both combatants as man and nature duke it out.

"Along with contributions from other countries, this fund will increase and accelerate the deployment of all forms of cleaner, more efficient technologies in developing nations like India and China, and help leverage substantial private-sector capital by making clean energy projects more financially attractive," the White House said in a fact sheet on Mr Bush's speech.
Mr Bush plans to reaffirm the United States' commitment to work with major economies and through the United Nations to complete an international agreement that will slow, stop, and eventually reverse the growth of greenhouse gases. Nuff said? Our money going to Global warming BS!

Some people here thought GW couldn't do any more damage in his remaining months as President. I begged to differ and got roasted, LOL.
He is, and can do more damage to Israel. He can sign the Kyoto agreement. He can pooh away more millions in the bottomless money pit of Africa for AIDS or hangnails.
He can feed the hungry maws of Gore's worldwide global-warming mafia with the $2billion just announced.
This $2b is also guarandamnteed to further destroy the Republican party.
He's used up all his Iraq chits with me.....and I can't take him any more.
It's scary to know he's not going quietly into that dark night.
