We now are in another, less popular, war in Iraq. Let's not forget Afghanistan.

I wish he’d nail his friend, FRed Thompson, to a renewed campaign, as his choice for Veep.

I miss JC. He was good at getting to the root of an issue and discussing it succinctly. I wish that he had stayed in game.

Why did J.C. quit the House?

Our nominee should look very carefully at JC Watts as a potential VP.

I don't remember the reason but I might offer an opinion,FWIW
Maybe J.C. promised not to make congress a life long career.
Another favorite of mine from Okla. was Don Nickles. I miss both.

Yup, you’re 100% correct. I read the Wiki entry for J.C. and he pledged not to run for more than 2 terms, but ran for 4 terms. He didn’t want to run for a fifth.
Hopefully he’ll make his fortune, then return to Republican Politics with a road to the White House.

JC Watts will be a valuable voice for possibly derailing the Obama freight train to the Presidency.

I dont think J C would want to shore up a RINO

Now here is a Republican candidate I would support.
Go Brokered Convention!

I also remember his saying that he wanted to spend more time with his family while his children were still young. If I remember correctly, his family stayed in Oklahoma and he went back and forth. Having been a star athlete himself, he wanted to be there to watch his son play football.

JC Watts makes me proud to be from Oklahoma!
To: Yo-Yo
Maybe he was too decent a person to stand it any longer?
To: 109ACS
I’ll come out and say it - I’ll vote for any of these bozos who puts JC on his ticket.
Even McCain because then I could look forward to the possibility he’d step aside in 4 years and let Watts run.

If we have a brokered convention, the delegates should look very carefully at JC Watts as a potential President.
