"However, the thermal inertia of the world's oceans and seas will delay a 'deep cooling' of the planet, and the new Ice Age will begin sometime during 2055-2060, probably lasting for several decades," Abdusamatov said. Funny. The last one went on for 50,000 years.
Don't the Vulcans arrive in 2061? Maybe they'll help us.

Maybe it’s more localized than we thought. After all, it’s a known fact that global warming occurs mainly over areas populated by greedy Republicans and their smog-belching fleets of SUV’s.

I am no scientist, but deciding we are heading for an ice age based upon any 10-year analysis seems as ludicrous as using the same period to arrive at the global warming hysteria. Dont these patterns take hundreds, if not thousands, of years before they have any weight? If you read it you see that the "Ice Age" was confined mostly to the headline. The scientist is referring to a repeat of the Maunder Minimum, aka the "little ice age" which was short lived (geologically speaking) and did not involve glaciers marching across the planet.
And he used the current sunspot minimum as corroboration. This is all plausible - much more so than the idiotic fantasy of man made global warming - though the case is obviously not proved.

My daughter has the “Ice Age” DVD so I have been forced to watch it many times. It’s still funny though even after at least a dozen viewings.

You know, this will mean more trouble raising food, and I know, seriously, we are worried about the affects of our pollution causing serious eco-harm to the oceans where we get a high percentage of our food. With two REAL science issues facing us, why the hell have the socialist morons so fully embraced the lie of “global warming?”
