God speed, Fred. You didn't lose - the United States of America did.
To all the loyal FRedHeads: Thank you for standing strong for conservative principles in the face of MUCH opposition against them. It's been a pleasure fighting the good fight with all you!
Like Fred, I also endorse no other candidate.
Prayers to Fred and his family.

Jellybean, thanks for all you’ve done. I will be considering Mitt; not because I endorse him, but as an anti-choice for all the others.
McCain: He’s a liberal Democrat in Republican clothing.
Huckabee: He’s a liberal wannabee in Republican clothing.
Giuliani: He’s a liberal buffoon in Republican clothing.
Paul: He’s a wacko nutjob, and I held back on my true feelings about him.
So, what’s left? No, I won’t sit this out. This election is too important. I have no intention of ‘handing’ the office to a Dimocrat.
Thanks, take care, and good luck!
Jim

Thank you for keeping me updated. It was a pleasure fighting the good fight w/ you and all of our FRedheads!!!
I too endorse NO ONE. When it comes time to choose between a rino and socialist pig, I will hold my nose and vote rino. If the sheeple choose McCain, I will stay home and drink a goodbye toast to my country.

I just wish I had known last night. The money I sent to Fred last night would have gone to Free Republic instead.
Bummed for our country.

Like Fred, I also endorse no other candidate. Me neither jb. My vote must be earned at this point.
So far, I'm vastly unimpressed.

Thanks for all you, Politicalmom, 2ndDivisionVet, Josh Painter, and the rest of you hard-working FredHeads have done. We always knew it'd be an uphill struggle, but I think it was still worthwhile, all told. In the end, though, style-over-substance and the Endless Campaign won out, and our republic is the poorer for it.
I'll also follow Fred's lead; I endorse or advocate no other candidate. You can officially mark me down as "Undecided". I might settle on another candidate in time, but, chances are, that choice will have been made for me by the time I get to vote in May. In the mean time, I'll do everything I can to make sure that choice isn't Mike Huckabee.
Also, I urge those of you who no longer have a burning interest in the Presidential race to consider lending a hand at the state level and in Congressional elections. Here in NC, for example, we have the first real chance in some time to put a conservative Republican in the governor's mansion, and it's always good to try and put a dent in the hopelessly corrupt Democrat majority in the General Assembly. I'm sure there's an election worth getting involved in in your state.

Thanks, jellybean, for all your pings.
I will miss all the Fred threads. Horribly. :^(
My prayers go with Fred Thompson and his family, and I thank him for answering our call to him.
It was an honor to be a FredHead.

Jellybean - standing beside you and Fred.
I, too, am not endorsing another candidate.....sad day at my house - the day my fellow so-called conservatives let me down.
