Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.
Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.
I know some Floridians who voted for Romney... *wink*... so, we’ll see.
Romney basically just did this with Carl Cameron on FOX. It was hard to follow because FOX had audio problems but Romney did praise him. Carl also asked a question about Thompson being on Romney's VP short list. The audio was so bad and I was in another room that I didn't quite make out all that Romney said...although what I was able to catch sounded positive.
I can tell you the eventual outcome in November right now: one of the Seven Liberal Dwarves will be elected.
“I watch Fox 24-7 and thank God for a choice”
Yes, thank God for a choice, and mine is to not watch the “news.”
Here’s an idea. How about a candidate actually earning my support and respect?
Well, I don’t think I’m going to convince you to vote for Romney, so I’ll stop trying.
Just checked my tagline and had to correct it.
I say the Mittster gets the GOP nomination and stands a good chance of getting the presidency as well. One thing is for certain — as a wealthy man he’ll be able to match the Democommies dollar for dollar and then some.
Hmmm. I usually eat my tomatoes with a little salt and basil.
With the economy the way it is, it would be a disaster to have Hilary in. Any R would be marginally better on that front and far better on the war.
“Youll be voting for Hillary or Obama by not bothering to vote against them
“Well, the GOP told me in 2004 that if I voted third party, I’d be setting us up for open borders, more spending, more stupid ‘environmental’legislation” and letting Iran build her nukes. Oh, and higher oil prices too.”
“Damn if they weren’t right. I voted third party and every single one of those things happened.””
Perfect.
We didnt leave the GOP, the GOP left US.
Yes thats how I feel too...
There are those in these threads who scream that we, the supporters of Duncan and/or FRed, are planning to back one of the other candidates just becasue we will not vote for RINO Romney...
They do not get it...
For a conservative to vote for any of the Republican candidates left, is to vote for Romney...
Romney, McCain, Gulianni, Paul, Huckabee.. are all tarred with the same brush...
They are Siamese quintuplets..vote for one, vote for all..
There is no lesser of the five evils..they are all RINOs with some area of liberal leanings...
No true conservative would touch them with a forty-foot pole...
Vote your conscience ???? Yes, the Conscience of a Conservative demands the FIVE be left alone...
I want Romney to win FL too, but there’s one slight problemo - Rudy’s been busy making back-room deals with Crist. Rudy is promising Crist a National Hurricane Insurance program for Florida.

Romney said Fred would be a great VP. So some of you Fredheads should eat a few of the negative comments posted about 300 posts ago.
The first amendment right to speak freely does not hinge on whether one votes in an election or not.
What we have here, now, is an election with NO conservative candidate. Since there's no "none of the above" spot on the ballot, not voting is the only option.
Let the convincing just happen... there is time.
I sure hope you knock out whatever is ailing you and feel better soon. Birthday greetings...:)
Romney is going to win Florida.
Wow what arrogant presumption. We will continue to fight for conservative ideals here and point out any and all posers be they McCain or Romney.
Now here is the challenege for you. Sell us Mitt. We don’t have a candidate and we know more about Conservative ideas than anyone. Now is your chance to learn, spread the word so it filters to Mitt. He is new to Conservatism as well.
