When Hillary wins, I wonder if this split will result in some blacks moving to the Republican party.

A poll this fall by the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, a black think tank, shows the wide disparity of support for Mr. Obama among blacks. While 75% of blacks who went to college had a favorable or very favorable view of the candidate -- rising to 88% among blacks who went to graduate or professional school -- support dipped to 62% among those with just a high-school degree and to 42% among blacks who haven't finished high school. A similar pattern shows up as income levels fall among blacks.

The crabs in a barrel forces are truly tied to animalistic instincts.

“What’s In It for Us”

Says it all. Looks like Hillary and Obama split the black vote.

no wonder the urbans don’t get anywhere in life, as the 2nd paragraph demonstrates.

“For African-Americans living in the inner city — where most children are being raised by single mothers, male unemployment in some cities tops 50% and 40% of young black men are either in jail, awaiting trial or on probation — the view of Mr. Obama is much more skeptical.”

I can say it in fewer words: “Self destructive losers support Hillary.”

We used to have property restrictions to determine who could vote.

I truly believe that folks who receive funds from the government should not be allowed to vote. All they want to do is vote themselves more funds from the government.

Obama should take the gloves off on Bill Clinton and say just how much his Presidency did for Blacks by doing a cricket impersonation.

Given that virtually nobody in this demographic actually votes, Obama comes out on the upside of this divide.

Obama is just bad news, both for the Dem party and for America.

He is a loose cannon, and a closet black-nationalist Pol with ties in the Islamofascist world he has worked very hard to maintain.

And anyone who speaks that truth is reviled as racist?

What a laugh. The Dem Party is bankrupt, what with Shrillery, and the Swoon Maker. I believe the Swoon Maker is a dangerous man to freedom in America and around the world.Hillery is just incompetent.

“I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit [prison garb]. Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18, and how come you didn’t know that he had a pistol? And where is his father?”

Is Bill Cosby the only one that will tell the truth?

His policy prescriptions for the inner city are similar to those of former Sen. John Edwards and Mrs. Clinton, including more money for jobs and education

The reason there is a black/white divide in educational achievement has nothing to do with money and everything to do with parental influence and societal norms in the ghetto. As for jobs--there are few decent jobs available for the barely literate. Bill Cosby is absolutely right--the change must be attitudinal, from the bottom up. Cosby is one of the few who realizes that the four decades of the government fighting the "War On Poverty" has been a complete and utter failure.

I guess a 50% black candidate is not as good as a 0% black candidate.

"Obama: What's in It for Us?"

Obama said this last night in the debate. He said the black community thinks of themselves first.
