If the DBM describe McCain as “conservative” how are they gonna explain that conservatives deserted him?

P.S. How come you address your replies to “Cedric; All”? Are you trolling for allies?

One thing to ponder is Fred remaining in SC handed the state to McCain. I wonder if that is true? How many of Fred’s votes would have broke to Huck?

It's all a matter of perspective, or your frame of reference, if you will. I suspect if Thompson had not been in SC that Huckabee would have indeed beaten McCain. However, the converse is equally plausible - if Huckabee had not been in the race I believe Thompson would have won.

What we are missing, at present, is certain knowledge of the actual, true motivation, plans and intended purpose of these candidates. For months many people have insisted that Thompson's whole purpose in running was to serve as McCain's stalking horse.

Looking at this from a different angle, however, it could be argued that Huckabee's role in this election cycle was to use his conservation positions on a certain subset of extremely emotionally-charged issues which are very important to the conservative base, but of very little or no interest to the power elites, to "take-out" any conservatives whose position would threaten the interests of those elites.

On the socialist issues of importance to the ruling elites, e.g. empowering ever-greater government control of individuals through taxation, regulation of lifestyles, etc., and the completion of the transfer of control of the wealth and property of the American people over to that self-same elite, e.g. through open borders demographic revolution, dismantling of national sovereignty through treaties (LOST, Kyoto, etc.), trade agreements (NAU, WTO, etc.), Huckabee is one of them.

Since we don't know for certain what was in the candidate's minds, we can only infer the answer from other signs. For myself, the blatant bias and shilling of the MSM in favor of Huckabee and their obvious pattern of supressing as much as possible any coverage of Hunter and Thompson was clear evidence that Huckabee was the Establishment's conservative Trojan horse.

Now that the conservative candidates who threatened these elitist agendas have been neutralized, we will know soon enough.

I do not mean it to come over a bigotry as I quite like Romney but I do know what the poster means by the stereotype image of Mormons back in the 70s and 80s.

"Another thing, if Rush's numbers every included cars, boats etc. there is not telling what his true numbers would be."

Could you elaborate what you mean? How are his listeners counted? I listen to him only on a portable radio or in the car. Am I never "counted"?

True, but if your cars are not off the highway at $8.00 per gallon neither will ours.

I agree and that is why the MSM want McCain to get the nomination.

No doubt if Romney does they will find something to smear him with though but hopefully it will be exposed as a manufactured smear and will turn the voters to him rather than from him.

Sorry, they actually were very pushy, not unlike some telemarketers. I am tolerant of anyone’s religion as long as they don’t try to push it off on me in my own home.

Of course it better than what some teens do but that doesn’t make it acceptable in my eyes.

Why should he need to ‘troll for allies’?

“If the DBM describe McCain as “conservative” how are they gonna explain that conservatives deserted him?”

They’ve already done it in this election cycle. They bank on the fact that average voters have short attention spans.

Not everyone out there follows politics as much as people here do.

And the media knows that.

“P.S. How come you address your replies to “Cedric; All”? Are you trolling for allies?”

Trolling for allies? Don’t kid or flatter yourself. I’ll address my replies how I want to whether they meet your approval or not.

You are the last one that needs to be using the word “troll” in anything yo post on here.

And considering the lightweight posts you’re making...I don’t need anyone to back me up.

They look like very nice young people.

Matthew 7:15 -- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

It's even worse than that. They want any "stimulus" to be immediately spent, because the one thing they can't have is the poor and middle classes actually saving and investing their money.

That would cause two things to happen. First, they might actually become financially secure or even affluent, which would nullify the Democrats' class warfare rhetoric. Second, it would eliminate their dependency on the government for their retirement and other expenses, which would destroy their power over their traditional constituents.

This is why the Democrats stand in the way of anything that would actually help move people out of poverty, rather than simply alleviating the symptoms of poverty.

Personally I thought the JW’s were worse at least the Mormons were polite some of the JW’s I encountered were much more pushy and would return even if asked them not to. The Mormons on the other hand once you said no did not try to push it again.

Maybe that was just a local thing with the JW’s but it certainly made a negative impression upon me.

Right now you are only counted of you recieve an Arbitron ratings diary. A process that’s not always a true representation of which station is listened to the most.

If Arbitron could come u with a way to get data on everyone listening to a radio at any given time and not jsut people who get one of the diaries...a truer picture of who is listening to what station at what time would appear.

sp's tries, but can't quite contain his Mormonphobia. I see you're adopting Leftwing attack strategy.

So, anything that is in disagreement is a "Phobia" as in "Islamophobia" and "Homophobia?"

Straight shooter? You sound more like a propagandist.
