How does the DBM truly view McCain? As a tool, a “useful idiot”.

Yes, McCain will, at the behest of the DBM, moderate his positions more and more during the general, thus, repelling and disheartening the GOP base and reopening the pre-Reagan split in the party {permanently, they hope}.

And who will they blame? Not McCain. They’ll blame knuckle-draggers like you and I for not being open to his moderate, bi-partisan, enlightened ways!

*unshrug*

Don’t forget the real difference in our fuel prices is nothing to do with the oil companies but the tax that our government puts on it.

McCain’s the candidate the ANSWER/Code-Pink types hate the most. Their sympathizers in the media won’t be able to help themselves come November.

I was refering to Romney’s evasive answer regarding lobbyist’s working for and contributing financially to his campaign.

When did this evasive answer take place?

Heated Exchange at Romney Press Conference

“I don’t have lobbyists running my campaign,” Romney said. “I don’t have lobbyists that are tied to my … ”

“That’s not true, governor!” Johnson suddenly interjected. “That is not true. Ron Kaufman is a lobbyist.”

Kaufman is a well-known lobbyist, former adviser to President H.W. Bush and Romney campaign adviser who is often seen by the governor’s side while on the road.

Bayh says the focus right now should be on who is the best leader to help Americans "face the challenges in their daily lives."

I don't want no s*** leader to "help me face the challenges in my daily life." Bug off, Bayh.

It’s all I can do not to toss something through my new tv everytime I see Kennedy shilling for a communist dictator and bashing his own country 30 seconds at a time on U.S. television.

I can think of a whole bunch of worse things that teens do today than missionary work. Perhaps you prefer teen pregnancies, rave parties, or gang drive-by shootings to nerds on bicycles?

I am appalled by the persistent show of bigotry displayed by several posters in this forum.

I take it you're a Jehovah's Witness. Hey, we all have competition; it's the American way.

Romney has much more then “just a chance” of winning. Romney takes the most important weapon away from the liberals, the smear machine. I don’t think there is even one smell of anything scandalous close to Romney. Add to that the guys good looks, his flawless speaking ability and his extreme composure under fire and the guy is a problem for the Billary crowd.

They won’t let him get that far. Sorry you can’t see that.

He’ll become one of the “knuckle draggers” you speak of the minute he were to get the nomination.

Whether we are or not...we will all be labelled as “McCain supporters” and he’ll be described as a “Conservative” in every negative way the DBM can use the term.

They can bury him in negative faster than he can refute what they are saying.

See what you fail to realize is that the DBM is working for the Democrat Party to help convince us to vote for Republican candidate that is the easiest for ANY of the Democrats to defeat. If they can get enough people convinced that McCain winning is inevitable...it all but guarentees whoever is the Dem nominee will win.

The easiest and most defeatable candidate is John McCain.

Another Clintonista on CNN argues for a temporary stimulus rather than a permanent one. He pooh-poohs Romney's plan, saying that a permanent reduction in the corporate income tax rate and the capital gains tax won't help the economy. Instead, we should give the money to those who will "spend it immediately."

Great, nothing better than encouraging spending and discouraging saving and investment when we have a near-zero personal savings rate.

Clintonomics is the prescription for permanent government dependency for every American.

They want it to be temporary so that people have more money in their pockets when a Dem takes office.

Because to them that translates to more money THEY get when they swoop in and raise taxes on those same people.
