Where does a Conservative go?(Vanity)
My feckless brain ^ | Me

Posted on 01/20/2008 1:18:25 AM PST by TexasMatty

As a Conservative I am lost. I will not, under any circumstances vote for John Mclame. He has sold Conservatives out. Nor will I vote for Jesus' favorite candidate Schmuckabee. I believe the most Conservative candidate is Thompson and can't help but wonder who is voting in these things. If Mclame or Schmuckabee is the nominee I can't vote. It will pain me deeply to not vote, but either of those clowns are no different from the lefty. Me question to my FRiends is.. WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO??? The situation seems rather desperate.

Hummm, "little support outside OC/San Diego/Inland."

One wonders how in the heck the man became known so very well in the Heartland (excluding liberal the "Hawkeye Caucai," that is.)

Gee whizzers I have seen the light and it ain’t the Huckster or McCaniac.

I don’t think Fred did so bad considering that McCaniac was a favorite of Carolina voters.

Fred for Gawds sake stay in the race were coming to help ya son.

Because most people really do like you and your message you just might end up being the last man standing.

Thank you Duncan Hunter your a great American.

The Reagan Coalition is being killed by open borders moderates who are pushing McCain and Huckabee.

One can say one liners and isn’t afraid to give take and give away your money to “raise hope”; while the other can’t be discussed negatively (McCain served in the war in case you forgot)

Duncan got as many votes as the typical customer count at a Dairy Queen in Nome, Alaska. For Crissake, he lost to "none of the above" in Michigan.

Keep it there to support Duncan’s son in the fall for his father’s seat in the 52nd District in California.

Well Matty, I have been a card carrying member of my State Republican party for 25 years. I have always voted a straight Republican ticket.

NOw I am feeling a tremendous sense of liberation. With the results of yesterdays primaries, it is clear that as a conservative, I no longer have a home in the Republican party.

Having caucused with my county committee, I will now return my membership card ini the mail along with a resignation letter. I will then hustle down to my Town Office and register as an Independent voter.

I will now vote for the candidate who is conservative on issues I consider important, regardless of party.. If the local democrat or libertarian is better in my view than the Republican, I will vote for them without hesitation.

"America is too stupid these days."

Big bump. But wouldn't blame women voters. The others you list are all unhelpful, though.

Yep, that would be those “first in the nation” “open primaries” representing many “independents,” dimocRATS and liberal RINOs, who desire “open borders” trash-talking conservatives, and other “great unwashed” (eek, can I whisper it) social conservatives.

Michigan again was an “open primary” eager to court “independents” and dimocRATS as most RINO run state GOP parties do.

“I am pulling for Romney on competance, but would hold my nose and vote for McCain. The only two candidates that I could NEVER support are Giussolini and Huckleberry.”

McCain will sign Kyoto, cave to Dems left and right, pass more anti-1st amendment legislation, push through amnesty but lie and say it’s not amnesty, and destroy the nation.

At least the GOP would fight Hillary in Congress. Those spineless saps would knuckle under to McCain in a moment.

Pray for gridlock!

I switched my support from Hunter to Paul a few weeks ago. I know he won’t win, but he has enough money to last till the convention and will at least keep the subject of limited government on the table!

What a dismal election this is turning out to be. For me, this presidential election is over the moment McCain locks up the nomination. I won’t vote for him under any circumstances. If it’s Hillary or Obama for 4 years, so be it.

Stay the course with Fred.

Vote your principles, not whomever is the current flavor of the day of the MSM or the RNC or the GOP or FAUXNEWS.

Bush did a good job to move us away from Reagan. His father started with the points of light and voodoo economics crap. Now the confusion of the drive media and Clintons have killed the real America.

Make no mistake, I am NO fan of McCain. I cast my first presidential vote for Harry Browne in ‘96, as I thought Dole would be too much of a horse trader. McCain would be much the same way.

Drastic measures for drastic times, and I understand.

I can think of a few pro life libertarians who I could vote for over most Republicans nowadays.

There's still a write-in. You could vote for yourself. Or Mickey Mouse.

One can only hope that 4 years of Morons will allow a true Conservative to emerge.
