I think he went out to give an opus and changed his mind.
Nah, I think he wanted to make sure to thank supporters before he (more quietly) drops out. It would have hurt too much to drop out before the results are even in. But it did seem like an opus, and I think he was just preparing us for the announcement to come.
FNC, btw, is saying it is still too close to call.

I told my kids in about 20 years they will be speaking of GWB like we do Reagan.
Be sure to tell them that Reagan really could ride a horse, while GWB's best ride is a pickup truck.

I agree. Fox supports the liberals running for the GOP nomination.

Brit analyzing Fred’s speech, saying he’s not going anywhere.
He’s really gone left right along with Fox.
To: Terrence DoGood
Fox pulled the speach ... socalled mic. problem ... Damn Them! Switched to CNN for the first time in years! Fred had to do this to get any time with the MSM ... Fox has ignored him all day!

Just put all your dedication into your local races. That way our Democrat president (rather it be HIllary, Huckabee or McCain) won’t be able to do much damage with a conservative congress.

Darn straight. This is why Fred should be President.
The media virtually ignores his campaign, throws him in the dust bin, so he utilizes primetime election coverage to give a ten minute speech to promote his campaign under the guise of an Opus - the only thing the media is willing to cover.
Absolutely brilliant.

Ironically (since I will stay home if Huckabee wins the nomination), I’m rooting for Huckabee to slip past McCain today. I think that would severely damage McCain, and still allow Huckabee to be a punching bag in the next debate.

Suddenly GWB is looking like Lincoln. GWB has looked like Lincoln/Wilson for years.

You’re wrong about Huckleberry. He’s not the next Clinton; he’s the next Carter, another prominent member of religious left.
