That being said, though, I still always thought Siljander was a bit of a nutcase for saying that Fred Upton was a tool of Satan. Siljander was taped saying that beating Upton in the GOP primary would be akin to breaking the back of Satan, or some such nonsense. Nutcase.
He may be a nutcase, and he was a congressman 20 years ago, but the media just LOVE to point out any failing of any conservative. They blend it into so many news commentaries that it becomes “conventional wisdom” that namy, most or all conservatives are crooks or nuts and possibly traitors.
I just wish that sometimes we conservatives would hold our fire a bit.
Remember the Trent Lott ‘situation.’ Would he have ever been attacked if his party was reversed? Yet Freepers were among the first to condemn his inane remark.
Yeah, before we string him up we might want to hear his side of the story. American prosecutors are as corrupt as Al-Quaida.

In this case it doesn’t matter what snopes say. Obama’s father was a Muslum; therefore he is a Muslum.
Besides, Snopes didn’t say his father wasn’t a Muslim. What they said he wasn’t a radical Muslim or practicing Muslim.
Even though Obama has never said he was or wasn’t a Muslim; only his handlers have said he was a Muslim. If your father is a Muslim; you are a Muslim.
Pretty good trick of PR and Snopes reported only that Obama was not a radical Muslim.
