THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Oh, I hear you. It’s just that between liberal reporting and Britney 24/7, I’ll take the liberal reporting. I can at least use by BS filter on the former.
But what about the children? And her pregnant little sister? They need guidance... < /sarc> No, seriously, I hear you. I cannot stand Fox News. I remember back when Katrina hit, everyone was Katrina 24/7. I ended up watching MSNBC because they knew what they were talking about. Fox News was all drama and "WE'RE DOOOOOOOOOMED!" stuff, typical Shepard Smith worst-case scenario reporting. I couldn't handle it.
“Define personal attack. What Fred did in the SC debate was point out policy differences. That is NOT a personal attack.”
thats my point. huckabee uses personal attacks on fred, while fred sticks to the issues
It will take me a long time to vote for McCain, should he be the nominee.
Can't pull the trigger for a dyed-in-the-wool statist like Huckabee. Better for our country to have him consigned to the dustbin of history, just like George McGovern.
That's probably true, but his wife might be interested in being the VP's wife. Besides, who better than Fred to step in the event of a crisis that requires the VP actually step up into the most important part of the job description?
The CNN panel: White guy says it’s the Obama campaign that is making this racial. White gal says no way, it’s the Clintons. Black guy says oh come on, this is racial but it’s far less bad than it has been in the past. Bring up the Willy Horton ad.
Interesting.
John's a good man, and I'm proud to call him my Senator.
I was surprised...thought the compass would pick Fred for me. Instead it was Romney.
Guess that reflects that I could be happy with either one!
The problem with McCain is he cannot possible win. The worse thing would be if I was wrong and he did win. That would mean we need to wait eight more years before we could get a conservative elected President.
I will NOT vote for McCain or Huckabee under any circumstances.
The vice presidency would actually fit Thompson pretty well. Especially if given Cheney-level powers over policy decisions, he could make a definite impact and not have the strain of being a full-time leader of the free world.
Now Romney, on the other hand, wants the top prize and nothing less. You can tell by the way he acts— a ruthless, vicious campaigner willing to take out anyone in his way.
Does anyone really believe that an independent will vote for McCain against Obama/Hillary? The only reason why McCain could do well in MI or NH is that the "Republican" primary allows anyone to vote in it.
“Stated positions” and “recorded positions” are two separate entities, and not necessarily the same thing (a lot of times they’re contradictory even). I don’t know what weight that quiz gives to each one.
I mean, we could get in the weeds on all the candidates past decisions, why they made them, votes and the reason for those votes, where they governed, what was going on with their constituencies in those days, and who said what when, and why. That analysis is good, but not everything.
For me, (and Im in the minority), it has always been the Presidential political campaign they are running, for me, it shows how they will govern for the most part, and shows their temperament, attitude and the tone of the next four years.
I was frankly shocked at the “Christian Leader” ad by Huck, and then his disrespect for another candidates religion was the next horror, and its been downhill from there.
I can’t stand the thought of it either! Fred Thompson is my only choice throughout this primary. The interview this morning with Wolf is a must see! Hope link to the video is up soon. GO FRED!
But do you really want to risk them trying to cheat, manipulate, push poll, slander and intimidate Hillarys cellulite-dimpled butt all the way to the Presidency? That's a risk I'm not sure I want to take.
