Good morning AB, and everyone. Congratulations to last weeks winning posters, in advance.
I now believe, after looking at the possible mischief in Iowa, NH and MI, that Rudy waiting for FL and Fred waiting for SC may be the best move for candidates on our side. There is no benefit to run a campaign in a state where Democrats can influence who our candidate should be.

I am sure we can count on our Sunday morning “Journalists” to be asking all the Democrat Candidates for President to comment on this story. It is only the most significant news story of this week. It only gives the lie to the latest PR attack on Iraq the Democrats in Congress launched this week.
It will be interesting to see whether Timmy falls all over himself at the presence of Lady Clinton.

Kelly Wright was interviewing talkshow host Ben Ferguson (Memphis) this morning.
I caught the tail end of a discussion comparing and contrasting Obama and Clinton. Wright said ‘they both are qualified’ [to be president].
[Clinton’s experience consists of 35 years of living with BillyJ and Obama’s major experience is 2 years as a US Senator before he announced his run for the White House.]
FoxNews seems to be shilling for the Dem candidate — whomever it might be.
It depends on the meaning of qualified.
Very True. Happens when you hire liberal "reporters" from other networks.

It seemed to me that in the SC debate, Rudy had slowed down how fast he speaks. Anyone else notice that?
McCain could not even pick up one additional state over those Bush won in 2004. So even if McCain managed to win, which is doubtful, the losers would be the GOP and the Conservative Movement
From Tax-cuts to the War to Judges McCain’s whole strategy has been to be as Liberal as possible and stay in the GOP.
Politically there is very little difference between Hillary and McCain. You get minor variations on this and that issue, like abortion, but over all McCain and Clinton share the same political philopshical outlook
McCain has done nothing for the Conservative movement in 8 years. While talking a good game on spending, he has done nothing. He has actively worked against the Conservatives on Social issues, on the WOT, on Iraq, on Gitmo, against Rummy, on Immigration and on Judges, on Global Warming etc etc etc etc etc. McCain has far more in common with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama then he does with Tom Coburn or the Senate GOP.
McCain would be the worse of both worlds. A mislabeled “Conservative” Administration actively advancing the Democrat Party’s agenda while knifing Conservatives in the back daily. You could even count on a McCain Administration appointing Leftist Judges in order to avoid fighting with the Democrats in the US Senate.
McCain would fracture the few remaining GOP Congress critters into pro and anti McCain factions. McCain would be the worst of all world politically for the Conservatives. At least with a Democrat Leftist Administration, as opposed to a McCain Leftist with a GOP Label Administration, the Democrats would get all the political fall out of their disastrous political decisions and the GOP would unite in fighting them.
The worst of all possible worlds for us in 2008 would be McCain getting elected President.

FNS gives us Rudy Giuliani. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him and he’s finally starting to free-fall in the polls after the first few primaries, and now he’s trying his hardest to hold down Florida, where all the New York expatriates go. There are some suggestions that he may even lose New York.
MTP gives us the notorious Hillary Clinton. As we all know these interviews with Clinton are infamous softballs, which is why I’m surprised she’s appearing on Russert’s show, because Russert has the capability to ask tough questions. I doubt they will and I suspect this will be a session of fawning over the “Comeback Kid.”
TW offers two people whose time is up and should just go away— John Kerry and Newt Gingrich.
FTN has Mitt Romney and— good grief, people, can we have just one week WITHOUT seeing Mike Huckabee on my TV set? Bob just interviewed Mike two or three weeks ago, is it honestly necessary to interview him multiple times in one month? I think not. Considering that Duncan Hunter has YET to get a single interview as a candidate anywhere on the talk shows (yes, I know, he had one on TW a few months back but as a Congressman and only to talk about the wildfires) this is a travesty. I think even Dennis Kucinich has had an interview.
LE gives us a superfecta— in addition to Huckabee and Romney we also see Fred Thompson and John Edwards.
Ratings coming up...
Fox has been unwatchable. They offer nothing more than vapid interviews and commentary and blatant bias in their coverage.
I've started to watch CNN--at least they're pros.
Very Excellent take which I think every Conservative (on this forum & elsewhere) would agree with.
I would listen to two comments from Brit Hume in two minutes than an hour of CNN.
Agree 100%...with one caveat: We need to take McDole down a peg in Michigan. The media tidal wave will be difficult to stop if he wins there.
