In the memorial's visitors' book, the president wrote simply, "God bless Israel, George Bush."
President Bush is correct and a good man. He should listen to his own words. However this is contradicted by the US support for the "palestinian" islamofascists. Yesterday President Bush sounded like (pardon me...) Carter, when urging Israel to stop the "occupation" and give the Palis a "right to return." What is going on in this man's head? I can't figure it out. I fear it's the StateDepartment pressuring Bush to pander to the Arabs.
I couldn’t say whether bombing it would have prevented the atrocities. Probably couldn’t have made it worse.
Bush is a good man. But, he did get Putin wrong. We are all going to pay a price as Putin continues to consolidate power.
As much as I dislike the Huckster, he was right in last nights debate when he straightened out Ron Paul on why we should support and help defend Israel.
i don’t think the allied powers were even aware of their exixtence until they marched up to the gates to liberate them.
Its much easier to say ‘we should have bombed it’ almost 70 years after the fact, when you don’t have to consider logistics related to it.
The same has been suggested in passing about POW camps in the Pacific...again its easy with time and distance from the event avoiding the logistics involved, and the question about how reliable the intelligence was ‘in the moment’ without the 20/20 hindsight.
Condi Rice and the folks at the state departmant are a disgrace to this country. Condi Rice is nothing but another token liberal Jimmy Carter disciple in sheeps clothing. It is hard to believe I once thought of he her as a legit Presidental candidate.
President Bush had tears in his eyes during an hour-long tour of Israel’s Holocaust memorial Friday ..

Who’s next ?
Hillary: “See men cry and it’s ok...it’s not fair...snivel...poor me...double standard!!...:
He wasn’t crying for himself. There is a difference. Bush is a good unselfish man.
I one drops bombs on a POW camp, doesn’t one tend to kill the POW’s?
We have one in our midst. Running for the presidency.
Barrack ( Mandingo) Obummer.
Skeptical?

I really, really, want to see James Carville crying like a girl.
That would be fun.
Does this mean Eric Rudolph is going to get a presidential pardon before Bush leaves office?
Dear Mr. President,
It is time to bomb Iran, so 70 years from now, another President does not have to make the same comment you did.
Sincerely,
exit82
Reagan should have bombed Iran after we got our embassy employees back. He didn’t do it.
Meanwhile Bush you want to sell these very same people out to arabs that want nothing more than to kill them.
Nice words ... now back it up with action.
The world HAS turned upside down.
Long live Israel and God bless them!
If Bush had been in charge during WWII as he now is for WWIII, we wouldn’t have won that war, either.
Well, we didn’t, thanks to FDR the lertist Icon and his advisors. We could also have blow up the railroad lines that were supplying prisoners to the death camps and we didn;t do that either.
FDR’s administration was filled with commies and anti-semites.
At the very least, we should have annihilated Solahütte.
He cried? Then I suppose his approval numbers will rise.
Many military decisions had to be made during the war. One was to deny Patton the fuel for his armor so he could overrun the Germans all the way to Berlin because there was a shortage at that time and Montgomery needed fuel too even though he wasn’t moving much. Still second-guessing that one.
Funny thing about Rommel in Africa. He couldn’t get fuel for his armor even though some of the most major oil strikes were made in the same place a few years later.
During the Battle of the Bulge the attack stalled for lack of fuel even though the Germans were only yards from a huge fuel depot in France and didn’t know it.
