Who would have ever thought McShamnesty would surge back to win NH?

Not I. Not in a million trillion gazillion years.

What the heck is happening to America?

I think I know! I was slipped a mickey finn and while unconscious, I was whisked away to an alternate universe.

I predict that Fred Thompson, once he realizes he can’t win, will endorse Mitt Romney. I hope Fred Thompson supporters will respect his decision and get behind Mitt to defeat McCain and Huckster.

Since you are behind the conservative curve, at this point, its a good start.

That doesn’t address the claim that Obama would be better than McCain.

There is a whole lot of speculation running wild on FR these days. BFD!

Once again, that doesn’t answer the question. Are you simply incapable of formulating an intellectual answer of what is a conservative or do you simply not want to answer it?

Agree. Jay Sekulow trusts that Mitt will appoint good judges. That’s why Jay endorsed Mitt Romney!

Wow, I totally agree with your post. I wonder what the agenda is with the few posters who insist on constantly attacking anyone who merely NOTICES that the most conservative candidates have flaws in their campaigns, or accusing posters of being a liberal because they are willing in a general to vote for the most conservative candidate with a CHANCE. I’m a financial supporter of both Thompson & Hunter, but some of their “supporters” on FR do them NO favors.

And about McCain’s speech— I was thinking the same thing— awful. At least Huckaboob could give a decent (if fluff-filled) speech. Why do I keep seeing a McCain/ Huckabee ticket? I think I need to vomit.

Romney scares liberals because he can articulate positions and he looks like a million dollars. Campaigning is very image based outside such political bastions as FR, Redstate and Kos.

I think the race is still too wide open to figure out who will eventually win. There have only been three primaries, and they haven’t exactly been in states that are representative of Republicans across the country. After Super Duper Tuesday, the picture will be more clear.

Yeah, the thought of any ticket with McCain, Mitt, or the Huckster in it makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

I don’t make predictions carelessly. It is based on the # of delegate seats Mitt Romney already has, and the fact is that he is a fighter! Once conservatives see that strength in him, they will begin to trust him more and more. Take my word for it.

Romney is Bush with brains and actual management talent. He would be better than the haters here think. Thanks for sticking us with McCain and Huckabee.

Impossible, he’s been practicing it like an artform for the past 3 months. I’m wondering what his agenda is, because it CAN’T be to sway people to agree with his position— unless he’s a complete idiot.
