Drudge: Siren only.
“tendy” = “trendy”
Hildabeast does not have to trash Obama to such an extent that it would alienate the black vote. She has Bill Richardson to do that for her. Richardson is in this race for the VP slot, and I can almost guarantee that Hildabeast has promised him that role if she gets the nomination. Thus, he will do her dirty work vs. Obama.
I dunno, here’s a scenario that might work for her:
Poor Bill’s health ‘suddenly’ deteriorates, and he passes away. Poor heartbroken Hillary just can’t campaign anymore due to this, and reluctantly drops out, endorsing Obama as the best one to beat those ‘wascally wepublicans’. Then, right before the convention, the final dirty story comes out about him, sinking his campaign, and she is asked to come back and ‘save the party’ (conveniently without the albatross hanging around her neck).
I’ve often thought that Hillary had a better chance at winning as a ‘stoic widow’ bud didn’t see a way for her to pull it off, but this way might work for her...Bill had better employ some food-tasters pretty quick!
Yes - he mentioned it this past Friday. He claims to have a source within Clinton, Inc. who has confirmed the story to him & the ‘dirt’ is supposedly drug-related. Considering the ‘blowback’ from the drug dealer smears Hillary has already tried to fly, I don’t know if she’ll attempt to bloody Oprama again with what the MSM will surely dismiss as ‘old news’.
Then there's the disturbing disconnect between Obama's carefully crafted persona as a unifier and a supposed "trans-ideological" agent of change, and his actual record in office.
You're kidding, right?
The "Clinton Brand" has credibility only among those whose morals are lower than alley cats and I.Q. smaller that their waist.
Did you believe it the day before Iowa when a mystery report said Fred was dropping out to endorse McCain and then that McCain was dropping out to endorse Fred?
Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!
"She can't take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada," laments one top campaign insider to the DRUDGE REPORT. "If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn't want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."
Meanwhile, Democrat hopeful John Edwards has confided to senior staff that he is staying in the race because Hillary "could soon be out."
"Her money is going to dry up," Edwards confided, a top source said Monday morning.
MORE Key players in Clinton's inner circle are said to be split. James Carville is urging her to fight it out through at least February and Super Tuesday, where she has a shot at thwarting Barack Obama in a big state.
"She did not work this hard to get out after one state! All this talk is nonsense," said one top adviser.
But others close to the former first lady now see no possible road to victory, sources claim.
Developing...
[The dramatic reversal of fortunes has left the media establishment stunned and racing to keep up with fast-moving changes.
In its final poll before Iowa, CNN showed Clinton with a two-point lead over Obama. Editorial decisions were being made based on an understanding the Democratic primary race would be close, explained a network executive.]
I had forgotten that Algore’s “ascendancy” to sainthood, as you aptly termed it, probably plays a part in the anti-Clinton message. Very astute observation!
Heheheheheheh. Somewhere, Tipper is laughing.
It is highly ironic that the theme of the movie “American President”, which we all thought was Bill’s inner hidden secret wish to be a widower in the WH, might actually apply to his sourpuss spouse, LOL!
As a Chicagoan, I’m intrigued. What falling out are you referring to? What was it based on?
“None of the candidates running in either party are getting even 40%, so by your rationale none of them would ever win and 60+% of the voters don’t like any of them.
Sorry, but that isn’t way presidential campaigns usually go. The primaries are to whittle down the field of contenders. Recall that just a few weeks ago, both parties has nearly a dozen contenders each.”
If 30% of the Iowa Democrats voted for Hillary in the Iowa Democratic primary, 70% did not. This DOES NOT mean that only 30% of Iowa Democrats would vote for her in IF she is on the Democratic ticket for President - I think we all realize this.
My point is she dropped like a stone in Iowa (from solid front-runner to 3rd place) as voters discovered more about her and she will very likely continue to drop natiowide (as per today’s Rasmussen polls) as Americans learn more about her.
Hildabeast is the only top tier RAT on the ballot.
Hillary, Gravel, Kooksinish, Dodd ( but Dodd dropped out)
Write in votes aren’t allowed, they can vote “uncommitted” but that wont count unless at least 15% in that district do so.
All the RATS are planning to vote on the Republican ballot to screw that up. Most will vote Ron Paul and he has Paulbearers out in force pushing that plan.
Its been widely reported in all the Michigan newspapers.
Its a totally open primary and every registered voter can vote on any ballot they choose. There is no party registration in Michigan so they just ask for a Rep or Dem ballot and vote.
Even Ind’s can vote.
With the Republican field so large and split and ALL the RATS planning to vote Republican, Romney is beyond screwed because their is no chance he beat McCrazy with the Ind voting for him.
Ron Paul has a very good chance of winning Mi with all the RAT crossovers.
I predict that Romney drops out after losing Mi Jan 15th.
So, did H! inhale (snort/eat/whatever)? Why has no one asked her the question? (No, not the boxers or briefs question).
I was working on a novel 10 years ago with some of the same themes. I should have finished it. It had her blackmailing the VP candidate after the convention and being put on the ticket. A brinbed alternate elector in a small state steps in after an elector is whacked and gives the Dems the victory in the electoral college. After the election, guess what happened to the president-elect?
Thanks, Miss M. My mother told me that she heard Sean had the scoop but she forgot the details.
Just think about the irony of that for a moment.
RUSH: What is this about Mrs. Clinton dropping out...the only way she’s leaving this race is in a straight jacket!
Just think if there is a Obama/Hillary ticket; we could all vote for the Beaver Cleaver family and Satin’s daughter.
What a combination. LOL
