“She doesn’t want the Clinton brand to be embarrassed.”

SAY WHAT?

Unindicted co-conspirator, wag-the-dog, missile technology selling, impeached, disbarred, whackin’ off in the sink, air shots on blue dresses...and this delusional twat doesn’t want the Clinton brand embarrassed?

My God, I’m speechless...

“Spade work” is a gardening term. It’s the hard part of getting a garden ready....really before the onset of tillers.

In any case, it’s still an unusual context to be using the word “spade” when talking about a black man.

Sadly, I don’t think that your thought is impossible. But I do think that it might get people to wake up even further about what the Clintons are capable of. It might not fly.

One has to understand the Clinton mentality here. They have huge egos and they hate to lose. If they feel they are going to lose, they will find a way to save face. What they will not do is suffer a slow death by losing primary after primary.

What worries me is that the Clinton crowd may NOT be above doing something totally insane to stop Senator Obama's campaign. Given the extremely sordid history of the Clintons, just about ANYTHING to stop Senator Obama is no longer far-fetched.

Fellow mom, I agree. I have wondered though if HRC’s invincibility was more a media creation than a reality.

It's likely that Oprah Winfrey--who's lived in Chicago since 1984--may have been asked by Daley's organization to help Senator Obama, who has been involved in Illinois politics for at least 10 years.

Hmmm which might explain why Oprah and her boyfriend contributed the minimum amount to his campaign when they could have doubled it.

Hillary is a tired, older woman. Looks like it and sounds like it. She must be about ready to hang it up. She and Bill are not fresh faces and have NO fresh ideas.

“Below the fold on Drudge:

RASMUSSEN: Clinton’s lead in national polling collapse... now Clinton 33 Obama 29; Before Iowa showed Clinton 41 Obama 24... Developing...”

Iowa voters have been bombarded for months with many opportunities to learn about the candidates with multiple mailings, phone calls, TV ads, and stump speeches.

It’s interesting that the more facts people discover about Hillary, the more unlikeable, shrill, crafty, and ambitious she is exposed to be - and her supporters continue to shrink.

Most of America simply DOES NOT LIKE HER already. If 70% of Iowa Democrats voted against her, what will happen as the rest of America discovers how sallow and corrupt she truly is?

I personally would like to see Hillary lose the primary race as quickly as possible - America simply cannot afford to take the chance of yet another corrupt Clinton presidency.

This isn’t the Walter Cronkite world of news reporting anymore, and the Democrats hate it like cockroaches hate the light.

I sure hope it’s not true. IMHO, Obama would be much harder to beat.

Never. She has a certain base that will never leave her and an unmlimited amount of money. She is prepared to fight all the way to the convention and to totally engage in the politics of personal destruction. The madrassa and cocaine were just warm ups. Obama is about to get a rectal exam from the tip of his toes to the top of his head.

Think of Hillary as Saddam Hussein setting fire to the oil wells at the end of Gulf War One. She will threaten to destroy the party if she doesn’t get what she wants.

If she does drop out, they will claim it is NOT for political reasons. She will come up with an excuse: health (hers or Bubba’s or a pet’s or even Chelsea’s), “personal reasons”, “family reasons”, “doctor’s recommendation”, etc. The typical reasons people use so they don’t have to say, “I quit because I am not good enough and there is no way I can win.”

Agree, but everything coming out of HC's mouth is so calculated...this didn't "just pop out" by accident. I've been around a long time and have got to say that I've never, ever heard the use of "spade work" ... have you? This was no accident by HC. She meant "something" by it...nothing innocent about it IMHO.

I don’t know, DFU. Sometimes things are exactly as they appear. Despite our 15 year history with Clinton, Inc., we must remember that they are not Supernatural and are mere humans. This could happen. If she and Bill are humiliated by several defeats, the Bill Clinton speaker’s bureau fees would plummet...

If she was afraid of looking stupid, she would have put Bill’s personal things out in the street after the blue dress and put locks on the door of the WH.
