I don’t care. Don’t try your sensible reasoning with me!

I just think he drags the debates down and ... I think he only comes on to irritate me!

Personally with the demands and pressures of the modern world and extensive travel expected espeically post 911 I feel that a candidate should be no more than 50 just my opinion and even 50 is pushing it, I doubt in Britain and in the future in the US that many party leaders will be much over 40. I think this and maybe the next British election will see the end of 50 - 60 year olds being major candidates

The problem with your theory is that in a brokered convention superdelegates have a lot of power. These superdelegates tend to be RINOs. I could see FL, TX, CA, MN, MD, etc all go for McCain instead of Fred. I am a Fred supporter but I would not bet on him in a brokered convention.

Sorry to major on the age issue again but he is way too old to be elected countrywide maybe a 60 - 65 year old can be but no way 72 year old. He support will be useful and needed though to the eventual candidate and no he would not accept the VP position again age would be the reason. He would feel that what remaining years he has in public office would be more influential in Congress than as VP unless he was offered the same sort of roll as Cheney has.

Neither the Bill Of Rights nor the New Hampshire state motto can be construed as legitimate pretexts for inviting a nut-bag, psudo-Republican to a Republican presidential candidates' debate.

Bonus Comment: Proper grammar supersedes trite rhymes.

Huckster is refighting the battle of Iraq and mouthing the old saw that the Bush Administration ignored the generals.

Should have had a much bigger footprint and overwhelming force.

Some of the generals must have been on board with the strategy. I really don’t think that the President made the whole thing up. I would point out that it worked marvelously.

Steffie points to Huck’s comments against the surge and he continues to maintain that he was always for it. LOL. Now you know it’s a smashing success.

I am not sure who is boycotting who I think that maybe for some reason apart from H & C Fred does not want to appear on Fox.

No, wait ... I’ve actually thought of a semi-coherent argument.

Paul may have money and some deviated preverts supporting him, but shouldn’t you be a Republican to be in the Republican debate?

He’s not, never has been and just switched to get noticed.

Answer - "Live Liberal or Die"

Because New Hampshire has failed to secure their border with Massachusetts.

My take was he was not rude to her but she would not confirm or answer if Fred would appear on the Factor. So of course Bill try to pressurise her.

Debates are by invitation. The ones holding them can set the rules for entry...I’m assuming the Mad Doctor didn’t pass.

Don’t be surprised if NY’s superdelegate goes Fred, though.

I know what you’re thinking. NY is Giuliani territory, through and through. However, the party leadership in this state is influenced heavily by a third party called the “Conservative Party” and they have supported Thompson.

It could happen. I still think NY’s superdelegate probably goes Rudy but it’s not a given by any stretch.

However, last evening’s (no more) “my way or the highway” diplomacy comment may have been a VP-slot overture by Romney to Huckabee.

What are the actual conditions for a broken convention is it a percentage of delegate votes or does a candidate just have to get more delegate votes than other another one.
