What a joke this debate is. These questions are ridiculous and are once again framed to try and make the candidates all look bad.

I agree, health care is not the province of the federal government. No conservative President has any business planning or managing or otherwise fixing health care.

Fred and McCain are hardly saying anything. Perhaps that’s a good strategy... let the others step in it. Huck already has. Mitt just did.

To Bor the heck out of everyone.

A simple procedure I must have every month costs me 500 out of pocket per month, because the gov’t FORCES me to be on medicare first.

I have the best medical, dental and drug coverage privately, but because I am disabled and cannot work, I pay 500 that my friends who need the same thing, do not pay.

My friends pay their visit and that’s it.

Gov’t keeping costs down and helping the less fortunate. Yep.

Mitt just got my vote.

So far I’ve heard one candidate, guess which one, talk seriously about the Constitution and about free markets.

It is just that Huckleberry is just not that versed in all the issues, spent way too much time playing his guitar.

We use our HSA to cover those things for which we chose not to have coverage; co-payments, dental work, oral surgery, prescriptions, etc.

Romney disputes McCain’s claim that pharmaceutical companies are evil. Good response.

Your auto insurance is compulsory also along with your property taxes. What is the difference?

Driving is a privilege, not a necessity, although societal constraint may appear to make it look that way. You can "opt out" of driving and therefore not be required to carry insurance.

Property tax...GRRRRRR...I can't come up with a coherent debate on them. I'll get "froth" all over my keyboard. ; )

Hope it's not to cold for you way up North. Cheers!

Property taxes are unconstitutional; it is a de facto assertion that the state owns all property - its subjects are only leasing it.

Auto insurance would seem to be a form of taxation or fee, like a toll, in order to use a public roadway.

Romney’s ‘health insurance mandate’ is many things, but not a free market approach to health care reform.

This debate is much more informative than Nurse Ratchett of the Des Moines Register debate.

Drive without auto insurance in Virginia and your license is suspended!

Same in Georgia and Florida and I would think most other states.

Huckabee talks in 3rd person platitudes and seems the most juvenile up there. And not in a good way.
