Fox analysts are really a bunch of light weights. Just pushed McCain! New Hampshire may be the only state McCain can win. Huckabee may not do as well in other states as well.

Iowa is a populist state, which translates as liberal when the left is flogging populism, and a pro-Huckabee in the present context.

“Well, maybe some of the rancor here on FR will settle down. Now, the viable candidates are all less conservative than the President.”

This is a feisty bunch. I doubt they’ll settle down regardless. Much as FReepers might not like it, the GOP has been returning to it’s roots for several years now. Those roots aren’t particularly conservative. Much as I thought Ronald Reagan to be a great President, his conservative revolution was something of a historical aberration for the GOP.

I think the heartbreak is going to come when conservatives actually acknowledge that neither major political party is all that interested in conservatism and see that that it just isn’t going to change.

No, the statement indicates a total ignorance of what Rush has said anytime in the last 2 years. It indicates to Rush listeners that you are motivated by something other then intellectual honesty. What is that motivation?

Well, since we know you are so obviously lying about Rush in your postings, it make thinking people wonder what else you are lying about?

For example, given your posting history of posting 100% screamingly ignorant “Hate the GOP propaganda”, and having see that you are in the habit of lying based on your statements about Rush, one could reasonably assume you are also probably lying about your real political allegiances.

When are you Democrat Party clowns going to wake up to the fact that IF you have to lie about your party alignment, you have all ready lost the debate.

We are at war in two theaters, a social activist preacher does not a wartime President make.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

When Romney came out with his " I am a religious person," speech, to be answered by Huckabees bible beating, I knew the GOP was in deep do-do. That played well in Iowa, but New Hampshire takes a dim view of bible beating. McCain will slaughter them Romney and Huckabee in New Hampshire, and then go into super Tuesday with a head of steam. It will be up to Thompson to overhaul McCain and take the lead.

Romney and Huckabee have cooked their own gooses with this religious stuff. There are very few states where that will paly seriously to voters.

I mean just imagine having either of these carpet baggers as war time presidents? Yuck!Neither has any military experience, and any military operations in which they become involved would be driven by politics and polls, not strategy for victory.

We need to get behind Thompson/Hunter and get the ball rolling here!

I believe Pres Bush carried every county in Iowa in '04, so that comment doesn't seem correct.

Nowhere near every county, but he did do better than in 2004.

2000 election results to the left, 2004 results to the right.

Note the colors are blue for Republican, red for Democrat, the traditional colors before the enemedia screwed them around.

Not without a lot of gnashing of teeth (with some in the GOP; along with a lot of grousing about it [all you have to do is listen to the Free Republic to hear them grousing about the Evangelicals and telling them to “take a flying leap”.. LOL...]) and the Evangelicals being “put off” on a lot of things on their agenda. It’s gotten a number of Evangelicals up in arms...
