Just the facts on SB 777 (CA Schoolchildren Can Now Choose Their Own Sex)

Just the facts on SB 777

By: ROBERT TYLER

Forget everything you learned in kindergarten about the difference between boys and girls. According to Gov. Schwarzenegger and the California Legislature, schoolchildren can now choose their own sex. I'm not talking about choosing "sexual behavior or sexual preferences." Kids are going to be taught that they have the right to completely ignore their physical anatomy and choose the status of being "male" or "female."

Ignore your common sense, ignore your chromosomes and ignore your anatomy. This is what your politicians want to teach your kids in school. After all, California's kids have mastered reading, writing and arithmetic, haven't they? In October, California Senate Bill 777 was signed into law. Senate Bill 777 eliminates Education Code 212, which currently defines "sex" as "the biological condition or quality of being a male or female human being." And worse yet, SB 777 redefines the term "gender" for all schoolchildren by adding Education Code 210.7, which will read: "'Gender' means sex, and includes a person's gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth." In short, this redefinition of gender states that you are what you choose to be regardless of your anatomical make-up.

SB 777 also uses this redefinition of gender to forbid educators from discriminating against any individual employee, student or other person based upon that individual's unspoken claim of being male or female, regardless of his or her actual sex.

Advocates for Faith and Freedom, a nonprofit law firm dedicated to pro-family issues, filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court, San Diego, on behalf of the California Education Committee LLC, a project of California Family Council. Members of the California Education Committee include school board trustees, educators, parents and students.

The lawsuit argues that the redefinition of gender should be declared unconstitutionally vague as no school administrator or teacher would ever know whether they are unlawfully discriminating against a person based on their chosen sex. For example, how is it possible for an educator to segregate the boys from the girls if each individual has the ability to randomly self-define their sex regardless of their anatomy? Should educators really have to face the possibility of being sued for discrimination every time they segregate boys and girls or should they just be responsible for asking every child what sex they choose to be that day?

The lawsuit also argues that SB 777 is vague because Education Code section 51500 prohibits any teacher or school district from giving instruction or sponsoring any activity that promotes a discriminatory bias against persons based upon their gender or sexual orientation. Is a "discriminatory bias" being promoted when a high school chooses a homecoming king and queen or when a teacher discusses the role of a mother and father after reading a classic English novel?

Education Code section 220 prohibits discrimination based upon a person's self-defined gender in "any program or activity conducted by an educational institution." And Education Code section 200 requires "equal rights and opportunities in the educational institutions of the state."

If the school must treat a biological male as a self-defined "female" in "any program or activity" and in the "educational institutions of the state," does this require schools to allow the self-defined "female" to access female facilities? If persons can legally self-define their sex, shouldn't they be entitled to be treated that way regarding access to all public facilities? Sound outlandish? Not really.

The Los Angeles Unified School District has already adopted policies allowing boys to use girls' restrooms and locker rooms ---- and vice versa! You can read LAUSD's Reference Guide 1557 on the district's Web site.

It even tells teachers they need to refer to students using the student's preferred pronoun. And of course, it prohibits the teachers from disclosing a student's chosen gender to the student's parents. Since LAUSD has such a strong academic record, don't you think all school districts should duplicate this program?

Our schools should not be used as incubators for social experiments and our kids should not have to be subjected to the radical agenda of Sacramento politicians. It's time for our schools to get back to the basics and fend off these ridiculous efforts to brainwash our kids.

Schools are spending so much time on these liberal sexual agendas it is no wonder our school kids are falling further and further behind all other children in the world.

Our schools should not be used as incubators for social experiments

That's what schools are! Schools are incubators for the next generation's culture, politics, and religion. It has **always** been this way. It is the very essence of education of youth. It is axiomatic!

Education of children is not now, never was, and never can be religiously, politically, or culturally neutral!

The Marxists who have total control of our government schools know this axiom very well, and they have armies of Lenin's Useful Idiots to help them destroy our nation's freedom.

and our kids should not have to be subjected to the radical agenda of Sacramento politicians.

Yes, they will be subject to the radical agenda! If parents and/or the students balk at this agenda, government school bureaucrats will send out armed police. ( Real bullets in those guns on the hip!) The parents have Sophie's choice: Send their kid to government school or REAL prison with REAL prison guards, with REAL bullets in their guns!

Some lucky parents can **ransom** their kids. They can pay ransom in the form of private and home schooling expenses. Personally, I call this ransom money the "Freedom of Religion, Culture, and Politics" school tax! Another name could be "The Freedom of Conscience" school tax!

It's time for our schools to get back to the basics and fend off these ridiculous efforts to brainwash our kids

No! No! No!....This is NOT the solution! The worse the schools get, the faster people will abandon them, and the quicker the whole painful, writhing, blob ( mis-named government "schooling") will finally DIE!

The solution is to get your own kids out NOW! Even if they aren't in California, this nuttiness will soon infect your kid's school. Then join with other like minded people. Organize a MASSIVE school tax revolt, and shut these government "school" cesspools down! Permanently and totally!

Five years ago, at a City Council meeting in one of the most liberal cities in the state, I sat through a presentation by a group called the “Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transsexual, and Confused Coalition”. My comment was that if you were all of the first four, the fifth was a foregone conclusion.

This sounds totally loopy, but I wonder if it’s really designed to be applied across the board the way some of the scare stories about it suggest. A lot of it can make sense in certain situations, but obviously not with a thoroughly male kindergartener who announces he is now a “she” and prohibits the teacher or principal from “disclosing” this to his parents.

On the other hand, I had a passing acquaintance many years ago with someone to whom the part about “it prohibits the teachers from disclosing a student’s chosen gender to the student’s parents” would very reasonably have applied. She (as she had chosen to be) was born an anatomical hermaphrodite, and had a nutcase father who insisted she was a he (apparently for no better reason than that he wanted a son) and forbade her from expressing or demonstrating any inclination to be female. In middle school, she left the house every morning dressed as a boy, and changed clothes (IIRC with the help of a sympathetic teacher who lived nearby), so as to arrive at school dressed as a girl, and reversed the process on the way home.

In her 20s or 30s she finally got surgery and was living with a completely female identity, though she was fairly open about her history (not in a “flaunting it” way, but actually largely because some radical feminist idiots on the campus of the college she was attending “outed” her, claiming she was a “fake” woman, yadda, yadda). At any rate, as an adolescent/teen, she would been subject to beatings at home, if teachers had discussed with her parents the fact that she was presenting herself as a girl at school, and it makes sense to have laws that protect teachers and school administrators who choose to withhold information in this sort of situation, and to some extent to protect an adolescent or post-adolescent child from disclosure to parents.

These self-identified gender changing children and their “families” will demand publicly financed surgery to objectify their perverse fantasies. Liberals will be delighted to give it to them along with counseling and welfare benefits. Even now public health and welfare bureacrats are concocting verbiage and “medical necessity” protocols to mutilate these children and make them lifetime wards of the state.

For the record, I would be happy to donate California to the cause for amnesty for all illegal aliens. I don't mind knocking one star off Old Glory for this.

Give them all their own little country to turn into one great big wonderful liberal and politically correct land.

Ok?...So?...How are Christian teachers going to respond?

They know that the government school from which they accept a pay check is setting a terrible example, and teaching a falsehood by example and published policy.

Do they kneel before God each morning and ask Him, “Help me accept a pay check for helping with this anti-Christian travesty?”

Obviously, the students see Christian teachers opening the doors to a government school that officially teaches principles that are in complete contradiction to Christian belief. They see Christian teachers assist, abet, and support a system of instruction that is in complete contradiction to Christian teaching. It isn’t a “little mistake “ once in a while, or even a “big mistake”. It is OFFICIAL, daily, on-going, published policy that is utterly anti-Christian!

Does the Christian teacher ask God, “Lord, help my students not see me as being in complete agreement with this anti-Christian philosophy but only as a person who helps it a little bit?”

When the Christian teacher hands out textbooks that are influenced by 777, surely he KNOWS that truth has been distorted. In some cases it is out right lies.

Does the Christian ask God, “Help me hand out lies to my students today?” Does he pray, “ Should I tell them it is lies but I will give it to them anyway?”

Does the Christian teacher ask God, “Help me to be silent today about the lies regarding 777 and other school policies and curriculum? Help me to lukewarm, weak, and subservient to this atheistic monolith?”

Does the Christian teacher pray to God, “Help me be sneaky and sly today so I can “sneak” a grain of Christianity to my students today?”

85% of Christian government school students leave the faith within 2 years of graduating from high school. Contrast that to 90% ( and more) of homeschool student who do remain faithful.

Maybe Christian kids leave the faith, because of the example of Christian teachers. If Christ spits out the lukewarm is it any wonder that students would be nauseated as well? Is the job of the true missionary going to be harder or easier with adult graduates of government schools?

Christian teachers by agreeing to accept a paycheck from these schools, by agreeing to hand out social studies text books filled with anti-American lies, by helping to open the doors, by aiding and abetting their anti-Christian colleagues, by being timid, by writing checks to the NEA have indeed taught a POWERFUL lesson about Christians to ALL of their students.

They have taught their students that Christian teachers:

1) Will aid an abet what they know is false for a paycheck.
2) Will Send money to the NEA.
3) Will hand out textbooks filled with what they know are lies.
4) Are timid, weak, sneaky, sly, and lukewarm

That is what Christian teachers are doing every day!

Solution:

Christian teachers it is time to GET OUT! QUIT!

Your most urgent and important mission field is your own children and those of your congregation. With today’s technology it is possible to open Christian schools, small one room school houses, homeschools, and “micro-schools” in homes and church basements.

Once your own congregation has a strong system of Christian education bring in as many non-members as possible, provided that it does not overwhelm the Christian culture of your system. Mentor these non-Christian children and families. Teach, support, and nurture these parents.

Finally, Harvard has a 37 Billion dollar endowment ( with a “B” as in billion”). Christians could do the same for private scholarship foundations that could give private scholarships to private schools. EVERY child in the U.S. could have a free Christian education. We are a wealthy nation we could do this, if Christians **wanted** to do it!

What homeschooling expenses?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The following were our homeschooling expenses:

1) My lost income for 8 years. ( I have a doctorate in one of the highest paying health professions)

2) Approximately $500/year per child/ per year in books and supplies.

3) Our children were forbidden access to the GED by law, so we had no scholarship assistance for the entire 5 years that they were undergrads. They entered college at the ages of 13, 12, and 13.

Let’s look on the bright side. Just think how easy it will be to sneak a peek in the high school girl’s locker room. Just declare yourself to be a “girl” for the day and walk right in! Tomorrow, you can go back to being a boy.

SB 777 also uses this redefinition of gender to forbid educators from discriminating against any individual employee, student or other person based upon that individual's unspoken claim of being male or female, regardless of his or her actual sex.

UNSPOKEN claim? Given this whole new gender-ambiguity thing, how is it possible to tell what gender someone has decided they are unless they tell someone? So if I happen to wear a pair of cargo pants, a hoodie, and skateboard shoes into school one day, am I a 'male' because I'm 'presenting as a male' in an 'unspoken' way?

Yeah, I wondered about that too. Does it have to be written down, or does the educator have to guess?
