That’s ok, it was a meaningless comparison, anyway.

Whatever you do, don't watch the original National Treasure movie.

Constitutionalists may see the following script lines in a very unsettling way:

Gates: Of all the words written here about freedom, there's a line here that's at the heart of all the others.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such government and provide new guards for their future security."

People don't talk that way any more.

Poole: Beautiful, huh? No idea what you said.

Gates: It means, if there's something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.

===================

You don't want to be thinking on THAT one too much...

I wish the undecided voters would watch the interview at the C-SPAN link below, and then read the transcript (no video yet) of Fred’s interview with Chris Wallace. I believe it would help them to realize that Fred is the man we need in the White House! GO FRED!

It means, if there's something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.

Well, he took the elegance of an nth generation fighter jet, abstracted from it the principles of flight, which he then presented in terms of a $29.95 rubber-band driven balsa wood plane kit and then claimed both are basically the same. But it's the differences that make the difference.

The voters of Iowa are much to intelligent to discount Fred with polling numbers as low as you claim.

“The voters of IA and NH have figured this out. 1-2% in IA, 3% in NH, and out.”

So where did you get those phony polling numbers?

They are touting Mushmouth Novak’s hitpiece numbers that seemingly were made up out of whole cloth.

" Yes, modesty and humility are underrated in the days of celebrities flashing their privates to the cameras. Let's return to what makes great men into leaders."

The Bible says that God resist the proud, but gives grave to the humble.

I will wager you $1 that he will get less than 5% in IA and in NH (so $2 is at stake). Let’s just leave it at that.

always though Mike Huckabee looked like the disgraced President Charles Logan on the series “24.” Am I the only one that sees the physical resemblance?

No you are not. I have seen the resemblance myself, in fact, when watching '24' I commented on how much Logan looked like Nixon. And since then I have thought that Huckabee looked like Logan/Nixon. Creepy.

I’d love to take your money, but my religion limits my wagers to either $1 or dinner or a drink. So #1 it is.

“We need a President whom will confront the MSM!”

Ain’t that the truth! And, not only that, but confront the Democrats, and even those within his own party! We desperately need a REAL leader like Fred Thompson.

You're willing to pay $1 for being caught posting phony polls? Yeah, I bet you'd like to leave it at that!

What were you thinking?

Yuk...we've been slimed

Let us wait for the NH results so we can figure out if it is $2 or $0. Besides, Fred pays (I’m going to guess) between $0.25 and $3 as a fee for each online contribution, so it’s better for him and no worse for me if I ‘bundle’ it.
