A lot of people wonder why FOX NEWS SUNDAY trails so badly in the Nielsens live. Well, looking at the lead-ins, it's fairly easy to see why. All of the other Big Three networks have lead-ins, programs that air before the Sunday morning talk shows, and Fox does not. Why this is important is because television ratings are measured via the "people meter," which measures whether or not a TV is on and what channel that TV is showing. Note that ABC and NBC have nearly identical viewerships for their morning show and for their Sunday talk show. What's likely going on in these cases is that a lot of people are simply tuning into the show for Today or GMA and just leaving it on through the talk show and may not actually be watching it. Also worth noting is that Meet the Press isn't actually the most popular thing on Sunday morning; that honor goes to CBS News Sunday Morning, a show I watch rather frequently.
It’s all in the double quote symbol. When I use Word, it comes out as a whereas in IE, it shows as a “.
If you look at the code in my post, you’ll see I got the correct url, but the quote symbol is not properly interpreted. I always look for that to correct it on all my quote symbols, but missed that one this morning.
Mine is a very simple one and one that I am breaking as the year comes to an end more and more so must start the new year with it and be strong.
I need to start doing my computer work earlier in the evening.
Good morning Alas thanks for the thread as always, as far as I can tell I have not been freeped or pinged with last week’s results.
Top-O-The Mornin’ to ya’ RG
Gotta run, be back in awhile, to read & lurk
TPD
My goodness not a nice way to start the new year
First question to Fred from Chris is regarding the report about “fire in the belly” and Fred hits a home run...I didn’t get to hear all his response (due to dog needs), but I did hear: “Journalistic malpractice”. Good for Fred!
Huckabee has a script and Timmy is letting him run with it. No interruptions so far.
Now turns to foreign policy.
Also the MSM will let them get away with it probably along the lines they were honest about their “problems” but the pubbies hid there's - hopefully the American public will not buy into this.
Stephanopoulos announced Hillary the most important Senator.
No bias there.
Ads which are deemed negative by some, but are actually comparitive and even include a compliment for Huckabee.
Huck has been well coached on the international issues.
Good grief....Eight teeth?
What are you getting done?
Due to an annual thread I do I will not be about much today but will drop in from time to time to catch up on comments and see if last week’s awards are posted.
Exactly. Public certainly is an important factor played into Gore’s defeat.
It’s a 30 minute interview... Tim’ll bring out the newspaper criticisms against Huckabee soon enough. They call it “Meet the Press” for a reason.
And as I speak... the first one comes up.
Prophetic as usual, jm.
