Here’s the story on Bhutto as I have gleaned after much reading on the subject.....the lovely Ms. Bhutto is a shallow, wealthy woman who care(s)(d) not a whit for her country.
She and her family of thieves, including her fine husband, stole as much as they possibly could from that country.
Most of the western world knew this about Ms. Bhutto but you know what her appeal was then and would have been in the future?
SHE LOOKED LIKE A NORMAL WOMAN!
Don’t think this prestigous American educated woman didn’t know this. She played upon her appearance as a modern, happening and hip Muslim woman not burdened by the burka but respectful enough to wear pretty scarves to both frame her face and as indicator that she still hews to her Muslim faith.
Heh.
It’s about those ladies in the beauty parlor folks! They loved or would have loved Bhutto!
It’s about sight and sound bytes, never forget it.
Ms. Bhutto was one smart cookie but somebody betrayed her. Pakistan is such a corrupt, disjointed country and hey, if you thieve so will others thieve against you.
Looks like she's still at it.
But, they are willing to wait until in he graduates from his university in Dubai---talk about a party atmosphere...

I went from an 18 to a 12 this year, with weight watchers. Now I have to start working out...which for a lazy person like myself if very difficult. As for smoking, well...I’m still doing that. May try to quit later in the year, but my son is getting married in May and I didn’t want to be the chubby mother of the groom which was my driver for losing weight. I’m considering trying to get that prescription to help with the quitting, but perhaps if I actually do start walking it may help to decrease my smoking on its own. I’m not making any resolutions this year, at least not at the start of it! HA.
I am impressed.
What will happen when Hillary speaks or acts without a script? If she were sitting in the driver’s seat she may
wreck, or cause a wreck, when she is full of emotions and upset. Do not think she could hold up during an extreme storm.
Basically saying anything she can to undermine Musharraf.
A President Hillary Clinton would probably find out quickly that invading Pakistan would not be like going into Kosovo. Maybe she could send her husband to run the elections, or even just run the country.
We have a pool in the office to fix a date when Lebanon finally chooses a President.

They are so fast to run out of Iraq where we have won, yet want to run into Pakistan where we have a working relationship. A Mullah gummit there would make Iran a walk in the daisies.

Most of the Pakis here don't give a squat about who whacked Ms. Bhutto. They fear civil war. in short, she was a martyr in waiting.

I’m now listening to Sen. Dodd, who routinely trashes the President on the floor of the Senate, that he agrees with Sam Nunn and the bunch that we have to “build consensus.”
He’s always trying to bring Republicans and Democrats togehers. He has been for a quarter of a century. (Or so he says.)

I would add, if the criminal matter was the assassination of Musharraf and if her horse in the race Bhutto was still walking around, she would NOT ask for an outside commission.
