ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani TV news channel has aired photographs of two men it said were involved in the assassination of former premier Benazir Bhutto after an election rally in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
One of the two grainy photos -- which Dawn News channel said were clicked by an amateur photographer -- showed a youth wearing sunglasses aiming a pistol at Bhutto's back while she waved through the sun-roof of her bulletproof vehicle to her supporters.
The other picture, apparently taken before the shooting, showed the same youth standing next to another man who had a white cloth wrapped around his face. Dawn News described the second man as the "suspected suicide bomber".
The position of the youth with the pistol in the photo coincided with the position of the shooter seen in video footage of the attack on Bhutto released by the interior ministry on Saturday. In that footage, the face of the shooter is obscured but his hand can be seen holding a pistol that is used to fire three to four shots towards Bhutto.

Pinging; the same pics as in your YouTube clip.
Alleged suicide bomber in white head scarf and what looks like a mustache.

First video frames of assassin shooting Bhutto
but seriesly, that first pic is CHILLING. It's a little like looking at a snuff pic.
That poor, brave woman.
Even with her faults and shortcomings...such a waste.
Based on the video from the Indian media, they should be looking for pieces of the guy in sunglasses -- it looks like the bomb blast was in the same spot.
What’s that guy holding in the picture,...a sunroof lever?!
A bomb is an effective way to destroy video devices as well as assassins. Seems like it was intended to go off the moment the killing was done.
That poor brave woman ripped off Pakistan to the tune of 1.5 billion dollars, She was no Mother Theresa.
That said, she wasn’t deserving of this.
Possibly Muslim. Ya think?
I’m surprised they haven’t “computer enhanced” the pictures yet. It’s 2007 - - should be easy.
A good guess, given that Pakistan is probably 99% Muslim.... The question is, whose people did it? Musharraf is not likely -- he has much more to lose from her death than he ever did from her political opposition. The extremists are the real beneficiaries here -- A-Q sympathizers is my guess.
Thanks. This video looks like the best evidence so far that she wasn't killed by a sunroof lever.
Im Sure Pervez Mush. is curled up in his little bed sleeping gently.
That would be the famous 9MM Semiautomatic Sunroof Lever.
However, of the opinion that people went a bit to easy on her because she's pretty. Bhutto probably was corrupt or at least not the greatest leader, but looks bestowed admiration, and more crucially, media coverage.
Again, there are parallels in American government.

Surfers searching for video footage of the suicide attack that killed Bhutto and at least 21 others on Thursday are liable to find malware posing as video clips that attempts to trick users into running malign ActiveX controls. Valid points there. But Pakistan is essentially a feudal state.
She knew they would do everything to kill her - but she refused to ride in a bullet proof bubble and she ALWAYS followed the same routine after a speech - ‘get in the car and then stand up through the sun roof’ = didn’t take the assassins long to figure out how easy it would be to get her.
She set herself up for it....and refused much of the security precautions Musharraf wanted her too - because she wanted to be accessible to “her people” = She contributed to her own death. What a waste.
