video shows the gunman shooting Bhutto - you can hear the shots clearly and see the flash of the first bullet...so that lays to rest the other dumb story that she died from hitting her head when she ducked back into the car...

She knew they would do everything to kill her - but she refused to ride in a bullet proof bubble and she ALWAYS followed the same routine after a speech - ‘get in the car and then stand up through the sun roof’ = didn’t take the assassins long to figure out how easy it would be to get her.

She set herself up for it....and refused much of the security precautions Musharraf wanted her too - because she wanted to be accessible to “her people” = She contributed to her own death. What a waste.

Part of me thinks she may have had a “death wish” of sorts and returned to Pakistan as a last resort. In light of her legal troubles in Switzerland (of all places), I wonder if her assets were frozen and she was looking at a long future living elsewhere in the Middle East without much to rely on in terms of financial support.

Seems I saw a film clip on TV where she was complaining about the lack of security that was given to her. I’ll try to find the link.

It’s my understanding she definitely did not refuse security precautions, but actually wanted more security and was not given it.
