The Talk Shows
Sunday, December 23rd, 2007
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Gen. David Petraeus; Joel Osteen, pastor at Lakewood Church in Houston; Morrill Worcester, president of Worcester Wreath.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Excerpts of previous interviews are featured in an end-of-year special.
What interview were you watching? And do you agree with the Brilliant Dr.Paul that A:Iran has no Military and B: Would never attack Israel?
Come on that is an insult to even Huckerbee LOL
Uh Huckabee's foreign policy is left-wing. He wants to "reach out" to other countries while Paul would cut foreign aid and tell them to sink or swim.
So Paul does not like Lincoln or Reagan.
I was reading a National Review article yesterday basically saying that Paul is modeling himself after Murray Rothard.
Do not count out Edwards on the Democratic side.
Yes, Obama is pragmatic, but there are still people out there who won’t vote for a black President regardless of who it is. He’s also very liberal (although he tries not to let it show too much) and I know many who still suspect him of being a Muslim. Edwards is similar to Obama without the baggage, although Edwards is more in your face with his ideology than Obama is.
The thing is, if Obama wins, he may win some “red states” but believe it or not I was reading a SurveyUSA poll, and they say that an Obama candidacy would put big uber-blue states like New York back into play.
My father raised turkeys as a kid, said they were dumber than dirt, and it was hard work to keep them from killing themselves through stupidity.
Paul has some kind of dreamy utopian view of our country, and of global politics. Unfortunately, a lot of people who call themselves libertarians see the same impossible world that he does.
LOL! He just said that he has been a Republican all his life, except for the one year that he ran for president as a libertarian. OMG! cue Rosie O’Donnell’s voice: de-lo-o-o-o-sional
be honest...............wouldn’t ya (like me) really love just backhandin Wallace ?
I mean a full 7 iron swing type backhand ?
me too............hehehe
Notice there is utterly NOTHING in Paul’s campaigns that outlines anything that even remotely looks like an agenda. Paul is very careful to never say what and how he would do anything. He merely chants meaningless sound bites with utterly NO substance what so ever to back them up.
That may make the Paulbots hearts beat faster, the rest of us are smart enough not to be fooled by such clever rhetoric and shameless pandering.
A: Their military is 3rd rate
B: If we ever take the handcuffs off Israel, she can pretty much destroy Iran when she wants to.
Obama: I think Senator Clinton is a capable Senator from New York... um... Barry... Clinton isn’t from New York.
Well later all....we cross carrying facists have to go to the 11:15 worship service. LOL!
Do you think that they would attack, as a nation, knowing that they would be obliterated by nukes? One giant suicide mission?
Obama: The RNC will be to blame for a nasty campaign and they have nothing to stand on. I have very few negatives. Republicans are abandoning the GOP because of Bush.
Well, now that you mention it...
I mean, here he has one of the greatest military men in the history of this country and he can't drum up some military advisors to develop some good questions to give listeners a better feel for what's going on on the ground over there in the sandbox. All he can do is parrot the Beltway obsession with how many troops will be coming home when.
They need to be raised in cages with wire mesh bottoms, keeps their feet dry. Then they all clump up in one end and suffocate each other.
I saw that and heard that and laughed out loud. Of course, Bob didn’t say: hey wait a minute, the democrats are the key players in the world of politics of personal destruction. Can you possibly immagine Schieffer staying quiet if a republican candidate had said the democrats will run nasty ads, and Bob staying silent?
Pathetic dnc suck-up from Schieffer.
Freepmail to you
LOL. A very Merry Christmas to you.
