Do not count out Edwards on the Democratic side.

Yes, Obama is pragmatic, but there are still people out there who won’t vote for a black President regardless of who it is. He’s also very liberal (although he tries not to let it show too much) and I know many who still suspect him of being a Muslim. Edwards is similar to Obama without the baggage, although Edwards is more in your face with his ideology than Obama is.

The thing is, if Obama wins, he may win some “red states” but believe it or not I was reading a SurveyUSA poll, and they say that an Obama candidacy would put big uber-blue states like New York back into play.

Truth is the dem/rats are probably the most racist party to come along in a long while.
They make hay while they can taking every minority groups votes for granted but when they get “uppity” and want more power at the top, dems are the first to shut them down. Amazing the way it actually works.
