Eleven Arrests at Giuliani's Headquarters -- Manchester, New Hampshire
Christian News Wire ^ | 19 December , 2007

MANCHESTER, N.H., Dec. 19 /Christian Newswire/ -- Eleven protesters led by national anti-abortion activist Randall Terry were arrested yesterday outside Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign office.

The pro-life activists, from Florida, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, and New Hampshire, were released later that day with trespassing charges while Mr. Terry remained in custody awaiting his court hearing.

Terry's message to the GOP and ethical voters:

"Rudy Giuliani can not ignore pro-life voters or the Republican party's pro-life platform."

"Rudy's position on pre-born babies makes him unfit to hold office and certainly means he will not carry conservative voters into election day."

"We must expose Rudy for who he is -- a deceitful left-wing Democrat masquerading as a Republican."

"New Hampshire is America's primary. What happens in New Hampshire will affect every voter in America."

Randall Terry's supporters will be picketing starting at 8 a.m., for the third day in a row in New Hampshire, outside of the County Courthouse, at 35 Amherst, Manchester, NH, waiting for his release.

If a squatter sets up camp on your front porch, that is technically “outside” your house. I suspect you would feel justified in removing them nonetheless.

That's a good job for sprinklers. The newspaper delivery person for the next door neighbor was wearing a path across the grass in my side yard. I posted a "No Trespassing - Keep off the grass" sign to no avail. The solution was to have my sprinkler system running from 6 AM to 7 AM on that part of the yard. The dumb bunny preferred to deliver the right way by walking up the neighbor's driveway and front walkway vs getting wetted by the sprinkler system.

We didn’t send slavery to the courts again and again for decades on end with lots of broken campaign promises...

True, but what we did do was send 600,000 men to their deaths to fight over it.

That blood paved the way for an override of the arrogant Court's decision, Dred Scott. The name of that override was the 13th and 14th Amendments.

But how to we get to the point where we can override the 20th century's equivalent of Dred Scott --i.e., Roe v. Wade?

We're not going to have a Civil War that will vanquish the powerful pro-slaveryabort interests, who shower their bloody money plentifully on Democrat candidates.

Have you ever read some of the bizarre and hateful things that Terry has spewed forth ?

You mean by pointing out that murdering babies is a horrible wrong?

He says more than just that , surely you know that .
If not , look it up and come back and tell me how his insanely inflammatory rhetoric helps the pro-life cause .

Eleven Arrests at Giuliani’s Headquarters

When I saw this headline I thought it was an immigration raid on Giuliani’s headquarters and that they got 11 of them.

For some reason, when I read the headline, I thought it was people connected to Rudy that got arrested.

Hahaha!

;)

"Randall Terry is about a stone’s throw from being accepted as a member of Westboro Baptist."

Nah -- not true. Not Westboro Baptist.

Randy has a son, now an adult, named Jamiel, who Randy adopted when the boy was 14, when the boy's natural mother, a drug-addict, decided she couldn't properly raise him. Some 10 years or so after his adoption, Jamiel announced he was gay by "coming out" and selling his story to a gay magazine called "Out."

Here's a quote from an interview that was done about it at that most difficult time, when Randy felt (understandably) betrayed by the young man's cashing in on a painful family crisis.

"There are three options when you find out a family member is homosexual. One is accept them and their lifestyle as if it's normal. Two is to reject them and sever your relationship. Three is to love them unconditionally, but to tell them you do not accept their behavior as normal, and to tell them the truth....I have to believe that people can change, otherwise I deny the Gospel, and I will not do that."

That's not like "Westboro Baptist." That's not the voice of hate. It sounds to me like suffering fatherly love.

Mind you, I'm not endorsing evrything Randy Terry says and does. Not at all. But I'm trying to be fair to him, because I don't think he's a lunatic and I don't think he's a hater. He's talented, he's conservative, he has his flaws and his problems: don't we all.

I agree that Terry does a lot more about his convictions than most of us do. It’s a whole lot easier to take cheap shots from the sidelines than to get up and do something.

that self serving stench that people despise .

Pretty strong indictment of a guy who has quietly adopted at least two otherwise unwanted children. BTW, What have you done for the cause lately?

I confess that was my first thought as well.

That thought first came to mind for me also.

They were arrested outside of Giuliani's headquarters. For a minute there, I thought New Hampshire had a law against [attemoting to] imitate a Republican.

"Randall Terry ...He does more harm to the pro-life cause than anyone else could dream of."

I don't know that he's spoken or acted any malice to anybody. You tell me. And he's actually saved lives, helped women who desperately needed assistance, adopted troubled children. He speaks out clearly and pays up personally.

People who actually do things are going to make 100 times more mistakes than people who do nothing. I am willing to defend the doers, popular or not, who take the risks, bear the bruises, face the ridicule, in season and out, and do what needs to be done.

Look at some of his quotes and tell me that you think it appeals to the general public .
There are far better ways of winning this battle , but Randall Terry’s way is not the right way . He deligitimizes the whole cause .
You could say he is the Al Sharpton of the pro-life movement .
