MANCHESTER, N.H., Dec. 19 /Christian Newswire/ -- Eleven protesters led by national anti-abortion activist Randall Terry were arrested yesterday outside Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign office.
The pro-life activists, from Florida, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, and New Hampshire, were released later that day with trespassing charges while Mr. Terry remained in custody awaiting his court hearing.
Terry's message to the GOP and ethical voters:
"Rudy Giuliani can not ignore pro-life voters or the Republican party's pro-life platform.""Rudy's position on pre-born babies makes him unfit to hold office and certainly means he will not carry conservative voters into election day."
"We must expose Rudy for who he is -- a deceitful left-wing Democrat masquerading as a Republican."
"New Hampshire is America's primary. What happens in New Hampshire will affect every voter in America."
Randall Terry's supporters will be picketing starting at 8 a.m., for the third day in a row in New Hampshire, outside of the County Courthouse, at 35 Amherst, Manchester, NH, waiting for his release.
Manchester Police have arrested 3 more pro-lifers in connection with protests against Rudy Giuliani's presidential bid. As of 6:30 p.m. eastern time, they are all still in custody.
Randall Terry stated, "The purpose of these protests and sit-ins is to highlight the fact that Giuliani is a hard core pro-abort, and is trying to pass himself off as a conservative Republican.
"When it comes to moral issues that grip our political debates, there is no difference between Giuliani and Hillary. He must be stopped at all cost. The key is showing that Rudy is a phony a wolf in sheep's clothing.
"These Manchester sit-ins are the beginning of a series of events that will take place in several states and escalate through Super Tuesday. Our plan is that February 5th will be the funeral of Rudy's treacherous presidential bid."

What law did they break to get arrested? The motto of that state is ...? Yeah, right! sarc/
And so it begins.
They’re lucky they didn’t try this sort of thing in New York, when Guiliani was Mayor.
How come Cindy Sheehan (?) was not arrested when she protested in front of President G W Bush’s ranch?
Trespassing. Private property is private property and if you don’t leave you can be arrested. The protesters know this. They almost certainly WANTED to be arrested. More publicity that way.
“How come Cindy Sheehan (?) was not arrested when she protested in front of President G W Bushs ranch?”
I’m not defending Sheehan, but she wasn’t arrested either because she wasn’t on private property that she refused to leave when she was asked or somebody connected with Bush knew she would just get even more publicity and possibly sympathy if she had been arrested.
Color me surprised. I figured this would be about 11 of rudy’s staffers getting caught in illegal activity. /s

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

This is not a defense of Rudy or any candidate. I am against abortion and against taxpayer funding of abortion.
Go for a Constitutional amendment already and end this bogus judicial tyranny of making law from the bench. The only way to strike down abortion, cloning, fetus harvesting (if a valid use for fetus “parts” are found demand will outstrip supply), and genetic discrimination in employment and insurance is by making explicit declaration in the Constitution by amendment. We didn’t send slavery to the courts again and again for decades on end with lots of broken campaign promises...
Good work Randall, giving a fading candidate even more exposure . Go away .

Randall Terry is about a stone’s throw from being accepted as a member of Westboro Baptist. Ping me when he ISN’T posting some self-aggrandizing stunt as a news release on Christian News Wire.
Exactly . Randall Terry has that self serving stench that people despise . He does more harm to the pro-life cause than anyone else could dream of .
Ditto on Terry.
Doesn't sound like private property to me. Limited info here, but, I would assume a public sidewalk.
At least 'he does' something, whereas, 'we don't' do a damn thing, other than vote for a politian who agrees with us. Big Whoop!
Regardless, Terry shows more gonads when defending the unborn then most of us put together. We may speak the anti-abortion line, he walks it.
As far as "self serving stench that people despise", sounds like DU talking about Conservative talk radio hosts or Newt.
“Doesn’t sound like private property to me. Limited info here, but, I would assume a public sidewalk.”
Christian News Wire describes it as a “sit-in” in its headline as does Terry in the story. “Sit-in” to me means you’re either occupying private space or blocking access to private space. A sit-in on public property that doesn’t block anything accomplishes nothing. The only photo I saw was of two people kneeling in front of some building doors.
I still think it’s a safe bet that Terry and others wanted to be arrested. One person arrested has now spent a total of three years in jail after various protests (guess she doesn’t have a family to worry about; seems about as nutty as what Sheehan does). Also, nowhere does anybody associated with the protests complain about the arrests. You can bet that if they were mad about it, Christian News Wire would have reported that. This is NOT a police outrage against pro-lifers.
If a squatter sets up camp on your front porch, that is technically “outside” your house. I suspect you would feel justified in removing them nonetheless.
thanks
Sheriff don’t want the jail stunk up.
