I love it when RP drops one of his moonbatbombs and the Paultard Ministry of Silly Explanations rushes right over here to explain what RP really meant.

That's a full-time, 24/7 job for a substantially sized staff.

You need to learn to close your html before it runs rampant all over your post... lol...

That being said, I must disagree about your statement wrt voting. It may very well be just the catholic church, but the propaganda that they spew is simply diabolical. It’s sole purpose is to make sure that everyone votes for the biggest pro-life candidate. In my experience, it’s always been the choice of the “lesser evil”.

Anyways, so what do you gather he meant to say in this situation? “Huckabee is a Fascist.”? Is that what you are saying? Because he didn’t say that either!

Thanks for the clarification, buddy. I'll just comment on the following sentence instead. Add a God who is also free to act outside of physical determinism and who you can have a relationship with and the world is a magical place where things happen, and these things have meaning and consequence. What does there being a God or not make the sunrise, sunset, the smell in the desert after a good rain, or great time spent with friends or family any more beautiful? It would be only in your mind that I could not appreciate the beautiful things of this world as well as you could. As I've said, I have believed in this stuff before, and looking back I can't rationalize the way I behaved except "it was how I was taught."

Oh yeah? Is that why he wants to bring the troops home and have a strong national defense? Bringing the troops home gives us so many more options. Family of the military get their troops back, and we prevent something like 9/11 from happening again. We are not supposed to be policing the world. Morally, it may be a good idea, but it stresses our economy and our citizenry in ways that are unnecessary. And for what? Are we really winning the war on terror? How come nobody else is convinced?

Ron Paul doesn’t need any one to smear him. He does that quite well by himself, even if you can’t see it.

Really? Based on observation, it requires quotes out of context and 500 posts to do that job.

Post 451 puts it in historical context. A majority of modern day Christians don’t fall into that mold. If Ron Paul was advised to say that then he needs to get new advisers.

“In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own.”

And he was right, the Ruler always needs the Priesthood to keep the people in line.

Hence the need for the separation of church and state.

Even the anti-Christ will have a false prophet (Rev.13)

Injun_Ear_Danny: There IS NO WAY that paleoPaulie can attain the POTUS nomination of an adult political party. As you will learn the hard way on January 2, 2008, and thereafter, and that's a fact.

If #402 was one of your first posts here, you are going to be fun while you last.

You have a problem with your family's Catholicism??? I am a Catholic. The pope favors peace in Iraq. That is his personal business and not dogma. It is known as a prudential judgment and there is no reason for Catholics to feel compelled by prudential judgments. The left will welcome your skepticism of Catholicism (as one from a Catholic family) like the left welcomes Dr. Demento's "foreign policy" of surrendermonkeyism. Fortunately, Benedict XVI is a terrific guy on matters which ARE dogma.

Don't expect actual conservatives to drink the paleo Kool Aid and you will spare yourself major ongoing disappointment. Jane Fonda, paleoPaulie and Ramsay Clark are NOT conservatives. Kumbaya is NOT a conservative anthem. Sucking up to Islamofascist monsters is not conservative foreign policy. Slaughtering them is a conservative foreign policy and a wise one but I repeat myself.

If paleoPaulie is the answer, the question must have been uncommonly silly.

What part of the FEC documentation actually verifies the donor’s listed employer, again?

Oh, that’s right. No part of it.

But thanks for signing up on the good Doctor’s behalf to post some meaningless six month old factoid. He needs all the spammers he can get.

If you're that confused over definitions then it is rather pointless to continue any discussion (as if we've had one to begin with).

Right! For once. There is little if any discussion with a Paulitard. It's their/your dogma and the non-believers be damned. And anything you can do to obfuscate the issue (such as claiming hearsay) the better.

I never expect a discussion. I never expect reason or logic. I only expect silliness.

And this is yet another case of anti-Ron Paul nuts hearing what they want to hear, so they can throw the temper tantrum they want to throw.

Paul is simply pointing out that should America descend into totalitarianism, it will be pushed there by a candidate claiming it needs to be done to protect American and Christian values. He’s simply warning us that facists tempt us with what we like.

What you are claiming the same as accusing pastors of hating Christians for reminding us the Antichrist will come to us quoting Scripture.

RON PAUL: Well, I haven’t thought about it completely, but you know, it reminds me of what Sinclair, uh, Lewis once said, he said ‘when Fascism comes to this country, it will be wrapped in the flag, carrying a cross.’ I don’t know whether that’s a fair assessment or not, but you wonder about using a cross like he is the only Christian, or implying that subtly. So, uh, I don’t think I would ever use anything like that.

I guess Ron Paul would have a problem placing his hand on the Holy Bible to swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. He just lost any chance of getting my vote.

In fact he denies the existance of any ideological motivation in Islamism. Yet relates fascism, in a loose sense alive today in numerous Muslim nations, to Christianity.

And which candidate has stated that Islam is the enemy?

They all think that terrorism is an aberration of Islam instead of it being a logical conclusion of its teachings.

So, stop acting like Ron Paul is being soft on Islam when no one in the GOP is ready to go war against it like we did against Nazism and Communism.

So what you are saying is "Because I don't want it to be true, I'm decided to doubt this information and instead claim thousands of individuals are all conspiring to come up with fake employers."

No, I am saying is that you cannot prove its true. It was self reported to FEC by the Ron Paul Campaign...

I learned this from the so called Vets for Kerry charade...It's playing out all over again.
