Very Sad. I always liked his music, much to young to die.Time for a checkup I think.

This is incredibly sad. Fogelberg made some of the best music of the 1970’s.

Much too young.
Gentlemen, listen when your wives nag you to go to the doctor for your annual.
And if you don’t have a wife to nag you, nag yourselves.

I was just thinking of him the other day. He and Jackson Browne were the best poet songwriters of their day. RIP Dan, thanks for the outstanding music.

I liked his music from the 1980’s.

There was a track he did for the soundtrack for the movie ‘FM’. It was called “There’a Place in the World for a Gambler”. A great song.

From his 1979 album ‘Phoenix’, he did the song “Heart Hotels”. That was a good one too.

I never heard he was sick. This is sad. He wrote some of the most amazing stuff. He will be missed.

Sad news. I always loved Dan Fogelburg’s music. Prayers going up for him and his family.

Saw him live from the 7th row. Unforgettable. You had to overlook the annoying liberalism in his lyrics, but was a huge talent.

Terrible news. ‘Hearts Hotel’ was always one of my favorites - - for some reason I remember hearing that song and Toto’s ‘99’ quite often at Camp Geiger ITS. Saw Dan in Philly circa 1984.

RIP to a great talent. May God bless and comfort his family.

I always liked Dan's music. Early on this year, when Barbaro lost his battle, Fogleberg's Run For The Roses had me listening to him again much more regularly. RIP Dan.

“Same Old Lang Syne” is a new holiday tradition. Sad to see him go...especially this time of year.

When the news story started with Fogelberg's music, I suspected bad news was on the way. That took about another 15 seconds. I attended a few of his concerts in San Diego. He was one of my favorite musicians.

I enjoyed his songs, as well. Usually, men don’t die this young from prostate cancer, but nobody holds walks, etc. for this like they do breast cancer.
