It's funny watching you all go apopletic over this endorsement.

Note to self, never be in a foxhole with the immigration lobby of FR, they will backstab you in a minute.

Robertson endorsed Rudy. I suspect this is as much of a head-scratcher.

Dane-o1, you would drop the Huckster in an instant if you thought for one second that his invasion conversion was genuine.

That’s it. I’m done with this country!

I swear, I am surrounded by three hundred million of the dumbest fools in the world. I mean, come on, this is the same guy who patrolled the border in an effort to bring awareness to the illegal invasion of this country and yet he’s eager to just ignore Mr. Open Borders’ past record and just take him at his face for what he says now. Talk is cheap, Mr. Gilchrist, and if you’re willing to sell out to an open-borders fascist, then you sir, are no Minuteman. You, sir, are a turncoat and a fraud, and when the Republic dies at the hands of the illegal invasion you, sir, who turned a blind eye to the quisling we call Huckabee, will have blood on your hands.

I give up...

It’s a strange new universe... this election I mean. If Huck gets it, FR and even the ex Freepers will have called it all wrong.

Hmmm, so you get an endorsement from a guy whose own organization tried to give him the boot over allegations of fraud, failure to secure nonprofit status, mismanagement and falsifying documents and that is supposed to mean something????

Maybe a Hoffa could give him his next endorsement and that will surely mean that we should all overlook his scary record as governor. Not.

From the Drudge report:

DEMS HOLD FIRE ON HUCKABEE; SEE 'EASY KILL' IN GENERAL ELECTION

************************************

**Exclusive**

Democrat party officials are avoiding any and all criticism of Republican presidential contender Mike Huckabee, insiders reveal.

The Democratic National Committee has told staffers to hold all fire, until he secures the party's nomination.

The directive has come down from the highest levels within the party, according to a top source.

Within the DNC, Huckabee is known as the "glass jaw -- and they're just waiting to break it."

In the last three weeks since Huckabee's surge kicked in, the DNC hasn't released a single press release criticizing his rising candidacy.

The last DNC press release critical of Huckabee appeared back on March 2nd.

[DNC Press Release Attack Summary:

Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA) – 37% (99 press releases)
Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY) – 28% (74)
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) – 24% (64)
Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) – 8% (20)
Governor Mike Huckabee – 2% (4)]

In fact, as the story broke over the weekend that Huckabee said he wanted to isolate AIDS patients back in 1992, the DNC ignored the opportunity to slam the candidate from the left.

"He'll easily be their McGovern, an easy kill," mocked one senior Democrat operative Tuesday morning from Washington.

"His letting out murderers because they shout 'Jesus', his wanting to put 300,000 AIDS patients and Magic Johnson into isolation, ain't even scratching the surface of what we've got on him."

The discipline the Democrats have shown in not engaging Huckabee has earned the praise of one former Republican Party official:

"The Democrats are doing a much better job restraining themselves than the GOP did in 2003 when Howard Dean looked like he was on the brink of winning the nomination."

A close friend to Huckabee explains: "Look, Mike is Hillary Clinton's worst nightmare. They should be squirming."

Developing...

Last time FR nailed it was when they got behind Arnold. We know how that turned out. The truth is “politics is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get” because life in this fallen world is totally unpredictable. The only thing you can put your full trust in is Christ, and his coming, stable, peaceful, joyful, eternal Kingdom on this Earth, as it is in Heaven. I still think it is a big question mark if we even make it to the general election before God really shakes things up.

1 Corinthians 4
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Also, some freepers were wondering whether you're dano1?

We live in a kook kook times

How can he evaluate Huck’s “new and improved” immigration position in a vacuum without any consideration of Huck abysmal past record on illegals?

Michelle Malkin: Minuteman Project founder endorses Huckabee?!?!?!

Update: Here’s the official Huckabee campaign post on the endorsement. A commenter there also notes: Another positive sign is the fact that Roy Beck of NumbersUSA has changed several of his ratings for Governor Huckabee from “red” to “green” in response to his new immigration plan. This is a big turnaround from just a few days before, when Beck characterized the Governor as a “disaster” in the area of immigration. Here’s the new Numbers USA grid: We are entering Alice in Wonderland territory. *** Yeah, you read it right–the founder of the border control group, the Minuteman Project, is endorsing...

It's funny watching you all go apopletic over this endorsement.

This is the same type of propaganda you gave us while supporting Chris Cannon, who is another open border "compassionate conservative". Hate to break this to you but the US is not a little district in Utah and Huckabee is not going to be president.
