China ....... rejected mandatory emission cuts for its own developing industries. What more evidence do we need that AGW and the world wide drum beat for "action" and $ is an attempt to bury the west?
My only question is, why are the Rat voters, most of whom are basic hard working class types, in favor of crippling their own economy to the advantage of their Chinese - low income slave labor - competitors?

China insisted Friday the U.S. and other wealthy nations should bear the burden of curbing global warming, saying the problem was created by their lavish way of life. Perhaps the Chinese are right. We should curb our "lavish way of life" by stopping all imports from China. Of course, then the Chinese would suffer mass unemployment and possibly another revolution.

If you pronounce that phonetically it doesn't sound very nice.

China knows the problem is bogus and was invented by Western politicians and other parasites on the oil industry. The West should resolve the problem themselves.

There is no such thing as indiginous people. We all came from Africa. Yep, and likewise we should all be able to claim we are African-Americans.

I just turned all the lights on in my house. Screw ‘em.
Maybe Krakatoa will erupt during the conference.
That would be a fitting end to these bozos.

What makes Kyoto a dead letter is China and India's refusal to accept binding CO2 targets. They are not going to accept a second class economy just to ease the guilty consciences of affluent Western environmentalists.

In U.S. News and World Report awhile ago they had a little tiny blurb on coal mine fires in China. (The coal catches fire underground and will burn forever - well tens of years at least). Anyway, the CO2 from coal mine fires in China (no doubt poor mining and fire-fightined techniques) is more than the amount of C02 put out by U.S. vehicle and industrial sources combined!!!
