That’s not a bad idea, although 12 yrs. would be more practical.
Also, would term-limit supporters also support term-limits for government employees?

There have been some excellent congressmen and senators who have served for long periods of time. I think of Henry Hyde, for instance.
When you have a really good congressman, you have a real gem who deserves reelection.
I don’t think the problem is term limits. I think the problem is ignorant voters and corrupt or stupid politicians with pretty hairdos. Lindsay Graham is Lindsay Graham, and that's the basic problem. I’d love to see the last of him. But there are others in congress who I hope can stay on.

Yes, it is worth a try. My family (very Republican)has discussed this, and we all have decided to vote against Graham, even if that means voting for a Dem. At least we would know what we were getting.

As much as it pains me to say this I am ashamed that I assisted Sen. Graham get elected. I have already pledged my support to Mr.Witherspoon to correct this mistake. I will also if necessary vote for a Dem. not only would we know what we are getting but at least the press wouldn’t be able to trot out another useful idiot. Nobody expects anything else from a Dem.

The bureaucrats are actually what’s running state, cia etc. So what’s the answer to rid our government of these far left ideologies embedded in government jobs...TERM LIMITS...

HA...if the President has 8 years why not all these others that have turned in to monarchs? What’s fair for the president is just as fair for the crumby senators and house members on both sides of the aisle. No one gets to build a kingdom any longer [and you know as well as I do...that these old timers have done just that]. They go into DC with a small net worth...they leave very very wealthy people.

Thanks for the ping, it would be great to see the Club For Growth involved in this. I’d like to see a Senator from SC in the mold of its governor.

His sound and video bites will make great ads, to remind SC voters of the “real” Lindsay.

I agree. If McVain’s cabana boy wins the GOP nomination, I will vote for the rat regardless of who it is. Goober must Go!

Oh well, at least some people posted her picture...better than nothing, I guess! ;-)

Lindsay says ‘Yew shut up!’ to the author....(chuckle)
Here’s hoping Lindsay goes the way of Johnny Edwards.
