Riot police were on the scene in a Pasadena neighborhood Sunday afternoon as a planned protest teetered on the brink of mayhem.

Quanell X and his followers planned to meet in front of the home of Joe Horn, the man who shot and killed two suspected burglars at his neighbor’s home last month, in the 7400 block of Timberline for a protest around 3 p.m.

But they were met with an even larger group of protesters in support of Horn’s actions.

See the posts above. We all should have guessed that Quanell has been drinking from Jesse Jackson’s Koolaid pitcher.

They are their in mass to complain over a skin color issue when it was a crime issue.
I think these were two possible illegal immigrants as well as everything else that was busting into a home during daylight to rob.

They sure looked Black to me, Spanish last names notwithstanding.

Not that it matters. The men who were shot were definitely guilty. Mr. Horn is presumed innocent. Skin color has nothing to do with any of that, and I doubt very much that it had anything to do with whether he pulled the trigger.

Quanell X Quote from later in the article:

“From the very beginning, we said that what the two brothers did was wrong. We don’t condone breaking into somebody’s house. But we are here today because we believe that it’s not right for anyone to become judge, jury and executioner, “ Quanell said, speaking into a bullhorn over angry shouts from the crowd.

“It’s a matter of justice. It’s a matter of fairness. It’s a matter of respecting the law,” he said.

He clearly knows little of the law. Respect the law: Do not break into peoples houses and read the Bill of Rights. He thinks they had a right to break into the house without there being any right of self defence on the part of the home owner or the neighbor.!!!

And whats worse, he refuses to be educated.

DUMB! or WHAT?

Quanelle:

” “If you’ll notice, nobody with us has pushed anybody. Nobody with us has made a racial remark … It’s what I expected. It’s not what I wanted, but it’s what I expected,” Quanell said. “The real question is, be honest, tell the truth. You watched them push, you watched them kick, you watched them shove. Did any of us do that?” “

What in the hell does that tell you? “It’s not what I wanted...”

"I don’t know what a Quannel X is, but it sounds like he should stay out of Mr. Horn’s yard."

Especially at night!

Notice Q-10 was careful to do his demonstrating during the day!
LOL!

I don’t know if the poll at the site took my vote (asks to register to see results), but I figure it is worth a shot.

The signup page will not accept new registrations. It might be restricting signups to locals.

Using deadly force is a federal crime, a violation of civil rights when a man from another race shoots a black man or another racial minority?

Horn has a problem though, if the article reported his converation with the police dispatcher right. He left his home after saying the words : " I'm gonna kill 'em." That shows intent to kill, not to defend a neigbor's property.

If he had said, "I am keeping them out of our yard," then he would be a lot better off. I beleive that unfortunately the Grand Jury will return an indictment for homocide. It will be a jury trial where he likley will be exonerated, if he has a sharp trial lawyer who knows how to select a jury in the empanelling process.

Yeah, out in the middle of a quiet residential street of McMansions. I cannot abide the sight of that man!

You should see the goons he had with him - he is always surrounded by a cadre of bodyguards (acknowledging that he is such a prk that most everybody hates his guts), as if he’s some kind of royalty from his made-up “new” nation of panthers.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. Pretty funny today, tho, a bunch of even bigger bikers were ready to bump fat hairy chests with the thugs, if need be. Just a bunch of screaming and yelling, tho - and the little wimpy yellow-belly retreated to his big black SUV to be carried to his next protest.

I heard the whole thing twice a month ago.

He went out to make a citizens arrest, then they came at him on his property, so he shot them.

Had they not been criminals robbing people they would not have been shot.

Quannel and his followers apparently want the license to to burglarize, rob, rape and murder without fear that people will defend themselves from their criminal actions. There is no other possible explanation for their despicable attempt to intimidate this fine citizen.

Oh, right.

QX: “... Nobody with us has made a racial remark ...”

Wonder what they were talking about, then, when all the blacks in his posse were out there pumping their fists in the air, screaming “black power” on the TV news just now. Not racial?

Perhaps I misunderstood and they were saying “black powder.”

I already fought that battle on the original thread. He was not very smart (Joe Horn), and I am not sure what he did was right; Yet, according to Texas Law, regardless of what he said, what he did was lawful and legal.
