Riot police were on the scene in a Pasadena neighborhood Sunday afternoon as a planned protest teetered on the brink of mayhem.
Quanell X and his followers planned to meet in front of the home of Joe Horn, the man who shot and killed two suspected burglars at his neighbors home last month, in the 7400 block of Timberline for a protest around 3 p.m.
But they were met with an even larger group of protesters in support of Horns actions.

When JJ and Al figure out that the deceased were actually committing a crime, and that they were not really black...
Oops...Somebody needs to give Quannel the tenth a proper education!
“the man who shot and killed two suspected burglars at his neighbors home last month”
so what’s the problem. Should be getting citizen of the year award.
I don't even know what to say...
Those burglars that Joe Horn deserve the Darwin Award. You don’t break into someone’s house.
ROFLMAO
Another minority truly proud of the country that gives him or her an opportunity to show their ignorance.
What kind of name is Quanell X, African, Caribbean Voodoo, Muslim Terrorist Hoodoo?
Quannel was outnumbered and most likely did not expect the support that Horn had. Hehehe.
Last I heard one was in Horn’s yard and going toward him.
Good shoot!
I think this was about criminals, not RACE.
The racist want to make this about race IMO.
Quannell X is Houston’s Jesse Jackson. He’s a race hustler.
I don’t know if the poll at the site took my vote (asks to register to see results), but I figure it is worth a shot.
“Should the Pasadena man who shot two alleged thieves be prosecuted?
Yes, he broke the law when he shot the men.
No, he did the right thing.
I don’t know.”
Sounds like the only thing we know for certain is that if the two guys hadn’t been robbing the home, they wouldn’t have been killed.
(from Wiki)
Quanell X (born Quanell Jefferson Evans on December 7, 1970 in Los Angeles, California) is a member of the New Black Panther Party and a community activist in Houston, Texas. His parents were both Nation of Islam members from Los Angeles. After his parents’ divorce, Quanell moved to Houston with his mother and younger brother.
Quanell joined the New Black Panther Party under the “leadership” of Khalid Abdul Muhammad.
I don’t know what a Quannel X is, but it sounds like he should stay out of Mr. Horn’s yard.
The Brothers are pretty few and far between in Pasadena, TX. More of a redneck, oilworker, cowboy town if memory serves.
Wasn’t Gilley’s (with the famous mechanical bull) in Pasadena.
Ah, the National of Islam. A real “peace and understanding” group. No real difference between their claptrap and that of the Klan.
