It's amazing, Mike Huckabee is one of the few politicians who would give the time of day to FR,
Gov. Huckabee's Thank you Letter to FReeper
and yet by some on FR they in mindless hyperbolic posts basically compare him to the plague.
JMO, some FReepers prove the axioms of "fair weather friends" and "no good deed goes unpunished" and also "watch your back", very true.
"The Huckster" rolls of the tongue, and is much more accurately descriptive of his slimy chameleon-like "character" (sic).
The more you find out about the Huckster, the more you discover that his down-home schtick is pure Elmer Gantry, 2007 style.
The Fredheads are terrified of any legitimate competition. They know, deep down, that their man doesn’t have the vigor or wherewithal to compete.
One does not have to be rude to a person one would not vote for.
Look, no argument, he’s really a Conservative Democrat; but then again.............who of this bunch isn’t; Giuliani is a Conservative Democrat; Romney is as well. Where does that leave us?
Being half a conservative means the other half is less than desirable.
And you're amazing too, Dane, truly a one-note wonder with the pro-illegal spamming. No one has a gun to your head, forcing you to endure the backstabbing or just total ignorance of FReepers. You were on the losing end of the debate here, and are now in the distinct minority. You can stop whining, or you could find yourself an environment that is more to your liking. Take your pick.
Dane likes Huckster— that’s how I know he’s an open borders POS. I would vote Hillary before Huckster
LOL! Talk about the pot calling the kettle, Travis.
I don’t see where Corsi really has anything to do with the moderate distain for Huckabee. I really think it has to do with his record on illegals, taxes and government control of an individual’s life. Personally, I don’t see Huckabee as a plague...it’s more of a pox.
Because their guy is slipping and they “can’t handle the truth”.
Also, I am finally pregnant and find myself becoming more concerned with the environment, and so-called mommy issues. My family tells me its my hormones and not to make any decisions that important while I am pregnant. I think I will just support whomever my husband supports at this point. LOL!
The rest are either single issue (Tancredo), insane (McCain and Paul), or just plain liberal (Romney, Guilani, Huckabee).
Illegal aliens come in all sorts of races, sizes, sexes, and national origins. Not just Hispanics. The problem, is that they steal our identities and jobs, without giving anything back.
Booknoted and saved for posterity.
NeoCaveman: “Ive decided to reconsider my opposition......to Paris Hilton.”
Perhaps she deserves a second chance, eh?
My Two Cents on Huckabee:
Huckabee appears to be a politician in the tradition of President Bush. Like Bush, Huckabee is solid on social issues, like abortion, but more than a bit wobbly on fiscal conservatism. Based on all of the articles about his stance on immigration, it appears he’d build a wall (enthusiastically? probably not), but he’d probably push for amnesty for illegals already here. I could vote for him in the general election, but I’m not thrilled about a 3rd Bush-type administration. If we are looking for smaller government and greater individual liberty, he’s not our man. Bottom line: he’s not as bad as the Democrats, he’s better than some of the other Republicans, but he certainly isn’t firmly in our camp either.
I don’t trust him anymore than Willard.
Ditto.
Bingo, you nailed it. Dane and La Raza are both for the Huckster, so you know he's a Quisling traitor.
“So basically it is a race issue to you, “
By gosh you made it to 56 posts before you pulled out that ol’ race card. Mellowing in your old age, Dane?
