Talk about damned-if-you-do . . .
On this morning's Today show, Matt Lauer discussed with Tim Russert the Middle East peace conference that began today. After years of MSM criticism of President Bush for not getting more involved in the Israeli-Palestinian situation, how does Lauer react when the president undertakes an historic initiative bringing together leaders of all the area's countries for the first time? You guessed it.

DNC/MSM propaganda alert.
Can’t wait till a Dim is in the WH again.
It will be raining puppies in the MSM everyday!

Lauer Says Mideast Peace Conference Could Make Things Worse Well, ya gotta admit that, so far, everything tried (except the Israelis' wall!) has made the situation worse . . . :(

Sure glad Mr. Lauer doesn’t have an agenda and is a member in good standing of the impartial news media.

If it fails badly enough, maybe Bush and Rice will share a Nobel peace prize. There are precedents.

Why would anyone care what a pea-brained newsreader thinks about anything?

After the last time this stuff failed utterly and completely, its a fools errand either way to ‘go there’ again.

Matt Lauer is Couric-Lite. Exactly what I was thinking. Lauer is such a lightweight he made Katie seem like a heavyweight. No one even entertained him going to the big show.

Saying Matt Lauer is an imbecile may be a slur against imbeciles.
But, as even a blind pig may root up an acorn now and then, so may even an imbecile like Lauer accidentally root up a kernal of truth now and again.
This is no doubt one of those times.
No matter how many concessions are made to the muslims it will not be enough and there will be accusations that the US is favoring Israel once again.
Muslims will not be content until we agree to nuke Israel ourselves and let the Palestinians come to America and kill all the Jews here.
Then, they will still hate us for not doing so years ago.

Tehran is going to hold another conference hosting Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Chances of this conference resulting in a lsting peace is probably zero as long as the Palistinians are divided, but give Bush credit for trying.

Too bad Russert isn't the kind of guy to say,
"You been smokin' sumt'in', Matt?

Yep, you’re on the right trick IMO.
Lauer sliped and fell into the truth by accident.
