Last January, an exclusive report was published on FreeRepublic.com, revealing CNN had hired a major Hillary Clinton backer named Vinod Gupta to conduct their presidential polling for the 2008 election.
Since then, several reports have appeared in the mainstream media, and on this site, detailing the antics of Gupta with the Clintons - the millions of dollars in corporate funds and services he has given to them, his conflict of interests in acting as CNN's pollster after declaring that "she'll be our next president", etc.
As the negative publicity about him grew, Vinod Gupta eventually claimed that he had severed his ties to Hillary Clinton's campaign -

But if he normally wears his friendship with the Clintons on his sleeve, it has been a lot less visible lately. The Clinton campaign began to distance itself from Mr. Gupta after reports that his data-marketing company, infoUSA, sold call lists to unscrupulous telemarketers, and accusations that he wasted millions of dollars on perks for himself and the Clintons. Mr. Gupta, in turn, skipped a Clinton fund-raiser he helped put together last month in New York, and now says he is no longer involved in the campaign.
With all this publicity, he said, to be frank with you, it just isnt worth it.

Of course, noone believed him. And according to a report this afternoon, Gupta will re-establish his cozy relationship with Hillary by hosting a fundraiser for her -

One gathering, in San Francisco on December 11, will be a reprise performance by a billionaire investor, Warren Buffett, who headlined a June fund-raiser for Mrs. Clinton in New York that raised a reported $1 million. Tickets to see Mrs. Clinton and the Oracle of Omaha together again start at a modest (for a Clinton fund-raiser) $100 for students and those under 30, and $250 for everyone else.

Hosts for the Warren Buffett event include Mrs. Clinton's interior designer, Kaki Hockersmith, and the head of a direct marketing firm with close ties to the Clintons, Vinod Gupta of InfoUSA.
Gupta was only mentioned at the end of the report - but this is a significant news item because it shows that Gupta's claim that he had disassociated himself from Hillary's campaign is false.
Why does CNN have a rule that prohibits their staff from contributing to political campaigns - but allow their lying pollster (who is now under SEC investigation) to give millions to Hillary Clinton? Doesn't CNN realize that their pollster is hopelessly tainted?
it’s like looking at one of the transparent engines at the science museum. You get to see the machinery of the Big Lie actually in motion!
What a great analogy.
That's because he's nothing like that awful Brit Hume, who was once observed reading National Review, and who everyone knows is a member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. That's why no Democrat will appear on the television network for which he works.
Anyone have that photo of Cronkite yachting off of Martha’s Vineyard with The Most Ethical Couple In History?
We're talking CNN and Clinton, Hal.
Neither one of who gives a damned about political contributions or violating laws. Unless it's the Republicans who are doin' the violatin'.
Wasnt that right after the truth finally came out about Monica. lol.
Big surprise. That’s why it’s called the Clinton News Network...
I’d forgotten that Bob Dobbs was in those Visible V8 ads.
Wow that’s cool! I want one! LOL

The Omaha World Herald had a story this week on Vinod, his company and how the SEC is investigating his business practices. In particular what he funnels money that should go to shareholders into. He runs his company like a third world sweatshop with pics of him and the clintons all over the place. Another criminal rat party member.
I suspect CNN doesn't care. They know this will be buried by the LSM.
