Sadly, metro Philadelphia has been a high crime zone for decades. It seems like a responsible city council would encourage institutions like the Boy Scouts. In recent years, however, city government has been promoting Philly as a gay tourist destination:

A “lease in perpetuity” should clear up the matter.

Should read:

“Philadelphia upset that homosexual predators are denied access to young boys.”

Instead of having presidential candidates making empty threats about withholding funds from “sanctuary” cities, we should be having conservative congressmen throwing monkey wrenches into pork for the cities who are picking on the boy scouts.

From what I have read, Philadelphia City Solicitor Romulo Diaz is himself a sodomite. ....Which helps explain why Philadelphia is so intent on forcing the Boy Scouts to let homosexual scout leaders take little boys off into the woods.

Anyway, I cannot for the life of me figure out why an organization with the integrity and traditional American values of the Boy Scouts would want to be anywhere within a hundred miles of a sick toilet like Philadelphia.

The Boy Scouts is supposed to be a good influence of young men — why would Philadelphia expect the Boy Scouts to open his doors to admitted perverts?

Exactly: their either is a lease or there isn’t. The City Council certainly doesn’t have the power to choose whether or not to “uphold” a valid lease.

I think only those with English as a second language confuse lose and loose.

Why don’t the queers just give up and start their own scouts!!!

The same reason vegetarians would rather picket KFC, BK, et. al. than open their own restaurant(s).

Wouldn't’t the Boy Scouts have a case for Eminent Domain since they have used the facility in question for decades?

Well, they did want to let them "loose" from the contract.

Boy Scouts should tell the city that they can take their building and shove it! No surrender!!

“The Beaux-Arts building was in fact built by the Scouts and later given to the city in 1928, noted Knight. He added that the Scouts had a lease “in perpetuity” with the city, an agreement that was not upheld by the City Council.”

The scouts should go to court and take the building back... Since the city did not live up to the terms of the gift.

According to Diaz, the Boy Scouts’ policy conflicts with a local 1982 “fair practice” law which prohibits employers from conditioning employment on the basis of “sexual orientation.”

Easily fixed. Re-classify all Scoutmasters and Troop Leaders as "Volunteers" not employees.

This world has gone mad when the Leftist/faggotry contingent expect a private organization to renounce their morality, yet expect them to 'celebrate' the oppressors' lack thereof. They are nothing more than an ass-backwards Taliban with STD's.

Don't cave, BSA. Let the Supremes and DOJ have their day. I have seen the future of America. And only one side can win.

"We were trying to be amendable to all sides, but National would not allow us to keep that language, so we rescinded it,” said Jubelirer in the Post report. “We can’t have a policy where we put in specific words that National won’t allow or we’ll loose our charter. We can’t afford not to be part of the national Boy Scouts.”

I checked the link and this is verbatim; when did Norm Crosby become the head proofreader for these malaprops?

Amenable and lose are clearly called for above and only someone who is loose with the language would think otherwise
