Good man. People who give stand out; and they tend to be richly rewarded for their generosity. Not in physical terms so much as spiritual - their lives are enriched through their giving. Make sense?
Anyway - it’s nearly 10 here and I’m considering doing a little shopping before going in to work at 7 tomorrow morning.
I’m going to call it a night. See everyone tomorrow some time.

This Day in U.S. Military History November 23
1943 - On Tarawa Atoll, the battle ends by noon.
The US marines have suffered 1000 killed and 2000 wounded. The Japanese garrison of 4800 troops has been annihilated. A total of 17 wound Japanese troops and 129 Korean laborers are the only survivors. On Makin Atoll, the battle is also completed. American infantry have suffered about 200 dead and wounded. The Japanese have lost about 600 killed, wounded or captured. Meanwhile, the escort carrier Liscomb Bay is sunk offshore by a Japanese submarine resulting in the loss of 600 sailors.
Flamethrower smoke rises above the top of an enemy bombproof shelter on Betio Island, Tarawa Atoll as Marines, led by 1st Lt. Bonnyman, advance up its slopes.
