It's Thanksgiving. In honor of that, let's all share some of the things you are thankful for.

Are you thankful for family and friends?

It's Thanksgiving....do you know where your turkey is?

Let's try not to eat so much that we fall asleep and miss the football games.

Then there are those shoppers out there who brave the mad rush of Black Friday.
Are you one of them?

But, rest assured that when you've had enough and you just need to relax, the Canteen is here.

When your feet are dragging and you're ready to drop, you can drop into the Canteen, grab something to drink, and turn up the jukebox. If you don't see anything on the jukebox that soothes you, you can make a request to one of the DJs.

Come and let us give thanks for all that's good. And, don't forget to thank those to whom we owe so much!

Ms. BEE! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. We had a superb dinner here, delivered from the chow hall right to our barracks! They went all out, cooked up several turkeys with all of the fixin’s, veggies, stuffing, desserts. Oh, so very yum!!!

Once I drew a cartoon for Thanksgiving with the caption “Thanksgiving 2000.” There’s a family sitting around a table full of food, and the mom says “So, what is everybody thankful for this year?” And the dad says “The electoral college.”

LOL...that is exactly what almost happened. I ate so much, just got on the bed to read for a minute....next thing I know I dropped the book and woke myself up! Sweat pants on, cathing up on email for a bit and may even try and “read” some more soon. With the lights out and my glasses on the desk...LOL
