FREEPER CANTEEN HOLIDAY SPECIAL It's Thanksgiving. In honor of that, let's all share some of the things you are thankful for. Are you thankful for family and friends? It's Thanksgiving....do you know where your turkey is? Let's try not to eat so much that we fall asleep and miss the football games.
Then there are those shoppers out there who brave the mad rush of Black Friday. Are you one of them? But, rest assured that when you've had enough and you just need to relax, the Canteen is here. When your feet are dragging and you're ready to drop, you can drop into the Canteen, grab something to drink, and turn up the jukebox. If you don't see anything on the jukebox that soothes you, you can make a request to one of the DJs. Come and let us give thanks for all that's good. And, don't forget to thank those to whom we owe so much! BURP! I'm done.
Stay safe. Come back soon. Prayers for safekeeping of our military.

Sour Cream Breakfast Coffee Cake
1 package yellow cake mix (lemon)
1 package lemon instant pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Wesson oil or vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients (cake mix, pudding mix) well. Add sour cream, oil, eggs, and milk. Beat at 5 to 8 minutes (at least. I beat for 10). Pour half of batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cinnamon/sugar & 1/2 of the chopped nut onto batter, pour in the rest of the batter then add the rest of the cinnamon/sugar mix and the rest of the nuts. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Place on serving tray.
