Sounds like typical CNN BS to me.
Link to today's 26-page New Hampshire poll report (PDF).

You had me going there....
That poll is crap. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times... this election will be decided by the MSM. They are currently pushing the candidates they want as well as fudging numbers to ‘prove’ their point.
Look at the top and bottom of that poll. Is it *really* surprising??? It is, New Hampshire after all. There’s no way a conservative like Thompson (or Hunter) would ever top that poll. Every candidate above Thompson is a RINO.
The MSM is trying to choose our candidate. Are you going to fall for the election the MSM wants?
If that were the case, one would expect Ron Paul to be winning, but in fact he's doing worse than Thompson, at a thundering 61% "would not consider under any circumstances."
But, vertically, no. Why? Because any given respondent may be “willing to consider” more than one candidate.
The first, and only the first, column ought to add up to 100% if the “not included”, “other” and “undecided” were included.
They are mad at Thompson for dissing them by not really campaigning, and skipping the debate to show up on Leno.
They are a proud people. Some here may explain it by saying they are liberals, but it’s easier and less offensive to note the obvious inclination of NH voters to punish those who don’t take them seriously.
He attacked my candidate too, but not in an offensive way, and I could always choose not to read his posts, not like some who ping others incessantly ordering them to answer questions and belittling them for it.
I think Fred’s problem is that he doesn’t have any executive or business experience. Nixon is the only one I can think of who didn’t have much exeuctive or business experience. Reagan was California governor, Bush 41 had business ventures, Bush 42 was in business and was Texas governor. Romney has business and governor experience. Romney’s just the natural choice.

New Hampshire has 4 electoral votes...not much, but Gore would have won in 2000 even without Florida if he had won in New Hampshire.
Oh I agree completely. Try this on for size. It’s two national polls from the same agency with only a few days different data, 1st - 14th, and 1st - 18th, November.

The problem is that the question is really 3 questions.
Would you vote for.
Would you not vote for.
Would you not vote for under any circumstance.
“New Hampshire Poll by UNH...In other words “Useless””
Correct!
NH has sure changed in 30 years, and not for the better.
“I agree. This whole race, with a cross-dressing, gun-grabbing Open-borders liberal as the leading republican candidate is direct evidence that the process is broken”
Enough to cause one to barf!
Half of me is speechless.
New Hampshirians (or whatever you call them) are like children in that if you don’t visit them 9 times a week they won’t vote for you.
