Rush is obviously referring to Rooty Toot and Romney here.
Stop Rudy Ping
ping
It’s still early but my feeling is that Duncan Hunter will gain some ground - if we continue pumping $ into his campaign - and will become a major contender the closer we get to nomination day.
WOW!
NYC zing!!!!
Don’t forget one of the reasons Rush left NYC because of the confiscatory taxation.
I hope you’re right because we are running out of time. I agree with Rush’s policy of staying out, but I think he should make an exception since Hannity seems to spend every possible second pushing Rooty.
As much as I would like to see Rush push some folks, I wouldn’t like to think that a guy won the top spot just because of him. It’s up to a candidate to develop their own organization, desiminate information, develop financial support and traverse successfully through the process.
I’m willing to listen to opposing views on this, but I think doing these things demonstrates the ability to lead. Getting a good recommendation from Rush really doesn’t.
I’m cover my bets and have sent money to Hunter and Thompson.
The Stop Rudy ping list!
E-mail/ping me if you want on/off the list! SPREAD THE WORD!!!
Rush does not need to imply that Rudy and Romney are liberals. Their records prove they are liberals.
The thought is not just held by me, it is starting to show up on the web.
The field of Pigmy's as Newt called them, is getting old.
He is not running and is to busy, but the name starting up come off of peoples tongues, and that is Alan Mulally.
WE need leadership, I am not feeling it folks with our current crop, I see it in Mulally.
When posting there is a restriction on how long the title can be, otherwise I would have explained it better. I think the “implication” comes in because Rush didn’t specifically identify the “northeast” candidates, but it’s obvious who he meant. I also think there was a thinly veiled jab at Hannity in there.
I was thinking the same thing.
I mean its so obvious that hunter is the ONLY real conservative candidate!
what is Rush waiting for? I pray not only rush, but others like dobson, etc would get off their butts and endorse hunter!
We need Duncan as POTUS
And the flip side of that is Rooty and Romney will lose ground, which I believe will happen. Paul will probably lose ground, since his support is largely Dems that are crossing over, I believe. The Huckster will be a force to reckon with, but he's broke, as it stands.
I understand Rush’s reluctance to be the “king maker” here, but he should have tried to stop Hannity from pimping for Rooty day in and day out.
The guys at the top have “generous” friends in the business world. Both parties are desperately trying to ignore the fact that Americans all across the spectrum are growing increasingly angry with a government bought and paid for by the big money.
I think it’s going to be a very interesting election.
Endorsing a candidate in the primaries is nothing but a downside for Rush because if the candidate loses, people will say Rush doesn’t have the influence he thinks he does and if the candidate wins then people will say the only reason he won is because he was “Rush’s boy”.
So, Rush is doing what is politically smart for Rush. The real question is whether more talk about Toomey or Schundler (not even an endorsement, just talking them up), for example, might have given them a bigger push in terms of money and notoriety.
Look how much money Rush was able to generate simply by putting a letter up for auction. If he were to talk up a particular conservative, it’s possible it could translate into momentum to defeat an incumbent RINO in a primary or beat a Democrat in the general election.
I think he misses some opportunities to do just that yet each time he did that he’d be putting his own reputation at risk.
