Barack Obama complained on Wednesday about an Internet photo that claims the Democratic presidential candidate didn't hold his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance.
"This is so irritating," Obama said when asked about the photo in Muscatine, Iowa.
The photo, which has circulated widely on the Internet, was taken in September during Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin's annual Democratic fundraiser. A message accompanying the photo claims Obama didn't observe the pledge.
Obama said the photo was taken during the singing of the national anthem, not the pledge.
This guy is so stupid (in addition to being unpatriotic), it's pathetic. Everybody knows that you stand and put your hand over your heart for the National Anthem (men take their hats off, and service personnel in uniform salute).
Here is what Obama shows respect for: the prominent racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton. If he won't show respect for our flag, maybe he wants to salute a burning Jewish-owned store instead. Please spread the word about Obama (and Clinton, and Edwards) enabling and endorsing a racist and anti-Semitic hate group.

Senator Barack Obama (Ill): Reverend Sharpton is a voice for the voiceless, and a voice for the dispossessed. What National Action Network has done is so important to change America, and it must be changed from the bottom up.
Senator Hillary Clinton (NY): I have enjoyed a long and positive relationship with Reverend Al Sharpton and National Action Network, and I dont ever remember saying no to them and I intend to remain their partner in civil rights as I clean the dirt from under the carpet in the oval office when I am elected President
Senator John Edwards: I will work with National Action Network to fight poverty and seek justice for those marginalized in our society.
The National Action Network is the same racist and anti-Semitic hate group that was involved with the Freddy's Fashion Mart incident in 1995. This is what Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards are supporting.
Pictures are worth a thousand words.
Creeps me out.
I am as patriotic as anyone in this wonderful country, but I also do not put my hand over my heart while singing The Star Spangle Banner. It is my understanding that you put your hand over your heart during the pledge, but not during the national anthem.
The video is even creepier.

LOL! I don’t know what was worse, his obvious slight to the country or the singing voice. I had the volume as low as I could.
In uniform, you stand at attention while the National Anthem is Played.
I don’t either. I am usually slapping ball caps off young men’s heads.
Roger that. It was the worst singing of the Nat. Anthem I've ever heard. Bellowing and off key.
Dude, you're clueless! And you want to be president?
How Barack Obama Broke the Law (no hand over heart during national anthem)

regarding Hussein O. photos, I’m watching Homicide: Life On the Street reruns on WGN.
Obama bears a striking resemblance to the criminal drugdealing dogooder Luther Mahoney.
Only Democrats have the chutzpah to criticize how they’re covered by the media. If a Republican complained, THAT would be front page news for a month about how they don’t believe in the First Amendment.
What do you then, Hussein with with National Anthem? Raise a clenched fist?
Man, those are some big ears....(chuckle)
